Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse, Houston TX

My Brazilian family and I have been coming here for a long time to get our comfort foods. It’s safe to say it’s the best place to get authentic churrasco in Houston. I also really love how cautious they’ve been during covid. The masked staff would assist you in getting food from the salad bar, changing their gloves with each customer. A lot of Brazilian restaurants wouldn’t do this and customers who would refuse to wear masks would serve themselves and just germ everything up. I’m sure things have lightened up now with vaccines, but I won’t forget how aware they were and I value them for that!

We came in a large group for a business lunch, and were in a separate room, not the main dining room. It's good to see that they've managed to open the salad bar and it's fairly well stocked; I personally think they could skip the meat items and leave it for the main course. The meat was very good as expected from a Brazilian steakhouse and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. I would have given five stars but when we started the main course the parade of meat was so interruptive that we couldn't carry a conversation. Then it abruptly stopped and we didn't see any more courses coming through for 30 minutes when some of us were still waiting for more. Also it seemed like the red/green cards were largely ignored, but I acknowledge this is difficult with a large table. I would like to see a steady but infrequent supply of meat. Overall still a great experience with room to improve.

Awesome place to eat, servers are on top of their game, and the food is fabulous. A gave a 4 because of parking.

Exelente service, great place and the most important.the taste on their food is unique.i highly recommend this place.pricey but worth it.

Just not my style. Service was under par, you only get alittle portion of meat each time. Shrimp was way to salty. Really wanted a steak but got a slice. For $50 you could do better somewhere else.

The food is great incredible and service is terrific. Plenty options for protein and veggies. I wished I didn’t have my lunch before dinning in Chana Gaucha.

Catered business lunch at the restaurant. I look forward to exploring the menu next time, as this was a reflection between 2 entrees. The Picanha, my selection, was very flavorful

Really good for Birthdays or anniversaries. The staff is amazing with great customer service. If your a steak lover this is the place for you. Management came to he table to assure we felt comfort in the visit. Really recommend this place for amazing food and service

Best steak house in Houston. I still like the one in san Antonio better but it's a must if you like steaks.

EXCELLENT Food & SERVICE. But is SO expensive! Great for Special occasions. Some of the best meats especially Lamb Chops you will ever find! And the Salad Bar cannot be beat.

I can not begin to describe how great this place is.
The variety and quality of food are excellent. The wait staff here is amazing and incredibly friendly. I recommend that everyone come here at least once.
