Charity Guild Shop, Houston TX

One of my favorite thrift/charity shops in Houston! I’ve found so many incredible things here, from furniture and home decor to vintage clothing and jewelry. Looking around my home, I see so many items that I’ve collected from the Charity Guild Shop over the years.

Given that the proceeds go toward a good cause and the quality of their wares is excellent, I think their prices are very reasonable. And the prices of each item drops as the week pass, so if you’re patient (and willing to risk it!), you can wait and get a great deal.

Nice consignment shop, lots of furniture, jewelry, clothes, nick naks, prices drop each week or so.charity organization, go check them out!

Nice place to know about for work clothes if you're living on a budget but they did not have anything in my size. Their prices go down based on how long the item has been in their inventory which I think is awesome because they can go all the way down to being as little as 10% of what the original price was

This is huge store with lots of clothing for women, men, children, shoes, purses, jewelry, furniture, housewares, books, etc. Everything is clean and well-presented. The place is well-lit. The aisles are a little tight but not too bad. There are not that many shoes but what was there was high quality. Prices are high but prices decrease over time and the schedule for price reduction is clearly marked on the tag.
If you don't find parking in the lot directly in front of the store, go across the street to another lot designated for Charity Guild customers.

This store gets some amazing furniture pieces. You have to go regularly and get lucky, but it's all part of the experience.

It’s a nice store but I would be more comfortable if there were more people of color who worked here.

I look forward to the bulk jewelry jars, but there were none. I was recommended by a jewelry counter volunteer to buy one of the 10.00 brown paper bag 'Jewelry grab bag', she said, "customers say they get great things". So I took the risk.what a bag full of worthless junk unfortunatly.

This is absolutely the best trift store in my life! Thus is actually first store where I liked EVERYTHING. They have vintage clothes, branded bags and shoes, jewelry, prom dresses, Victoria Secret silky pajamas and many many many other things. The staff is absolutely amazing and super helpful. I absolutely love clothes part of the store, but when I got to non-clothes part, that was even better. The laces, Iranian table clothe, Indian brass plate, tailor dress form, electro piano, telescope, sewing machine, books. Hold me, cause I love this store, and I will be back many times!

I wonder why the shop is closed on 12/4, Wednesday? I tried to call the shop but no one takes the phone.

This resale shop was a little bit of everything including clothing, housewares, curios, furniture, antiques, framed art, etc. Merchandise displays are outstanding.

They have nothing but quality merchandise. Clothing is sorted by size with a section for items that have been marked down.

Prices are a little high, but the proceeds go to a good cause. I was really impressed with this shoo.
