This man Mr. Covert I don’t even want to call him a doctor is unprofessional doesn’t target the problem however he judges you and makes his own presumption from my visit my opinion is that he’s very rude and in my case racist he judged me from my appearance being that I have tattoos please please if you really want help do not go here and the only reason I gave the 1 star I did give is because I think you gave to pick a star to leave a review other than that it would’ve been a negative amount of stars

I would not send my dog to this man, I went to him on 7-24-2019. All he did was ask questions and not much on the violent attack that happened to me. I had to call them today to find out he said no about helping me, please find someone else if you need help because this man will not help you.

Took my teen to him because he was able to see my kid fairly quickly. (My kid begged for help, so i tried to get it).
Spent a total of 3 hours with me, kid and both of us. Had my kid do tests. Was condescending to me (I am not a Doctor but have had plenty of experience with people with mental health issues), berated me for stopping him to ask questions (said it was his turn to talk, i had had my turn already and needed to just be quiet and listen). Told me the past was the past and didn't matter, it was time to move forward and focus. Told me and my kid he wouldn't treat my kid until my kid got it together (um my kid was seeking help to get it together), and he would be happy to treat me so i could get better. WHAT? We left and will never go back. Charged double what I was originally told, and was creepy and unprofessional. What a joke and horribly rude man.

I was seeking help from doctor covert I go to every appointment I've had for psychiatrist he is the only doctor who accepts dfec owcp and is not willing to offer help when I'm suffering the most with my major decision disorder and psychotic features I'm trying to fight these voices demons trying to take control I just needed help and he refused to offer help when I'm already approved for my mental health thru owcp dfec and nothing not even willing to see me once to meet me and see that I am wanting and needing the help but nothing thanks alot for no help I'll suffer and try to fight them from taking control but have lost in the past with suicide attempts and more than likely will end up the same way when I was reaching out for help and he flat out said no he is the only one in Texas and I am willing to travel any day even today I just needed to help thanks for letting me continue to suffer and do it alone without help I hope it haunts you knowing I was reaching out and you are a doctor who is supposed to help people in need and I was one and now off to be lost inside my head with these demons who want to take control I went from 250lbs to 165 within these couple months and no sleep for the past week and doesn't care he took oath to help people in need and I will make sure my letter I leave behind will include his name of people not willing to help me at all thanks for not offering the help I was reaching out for and needed
