Pompous and belittling. His initial consultation was very good, but after the procedure he had a completely different attitude. He was agitated and almost combative in answering questions. Waited for hours to be discharged as everyone was waiting on him. When he finally did show (after I had someone call him) he was very short, rude when I asked questions and he gave answers that anyone can pull from the internet. He stated he did not have the time to answer questions and he would do so in a 30 day follow up appointment. Well, after undergoing a procedure that was a little more than repairing a flat tire, I would have liked to know everything and anything about what was seen and future prognosis but that's evidently too much to ask! He seemed rushed and irritated that we had the gall to take him away from whatever he was doing to complete the discharge and ask questions. He in fact stated it was not a good day. I will not recommend any professional who does not take the time to debrief a consumer on something as serious as this type of procedure. He had a COMPLETLEY DIFFERENT ATTITUDE than he did a few days prior. Additionally, another doctor had prescribed a new medication and when I asked Lampe about it, he stated it was my responsibility to contact that physician and ask him about it! The medication was a new heart related medication. You would think the cardiologist would call the other physician himself and consult as to his reasoning. Its not like he prescribed aspirin! The entire post op consultation was very disconcerting and stressful. Not the kind of feeling you want to have after your first cardiac procedure with a new physician.

My pharmacy had the misfortune of speaking with Dr. Lampe's office manager this week about a patient. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I hope she treats patients better than she does pharmacy staff.

Dr. Lampe and his staff are friendly, kind, and caring. I am immensely please that Dr. Parikh referred me to Dr. Lampe.

Very well organized front office: check-in went smoothly (especially if you use eCheck online) and the wait was minimal. My physician (Dr. Lampe) solicited my input and listened carefully to what I said. His perspective was insightful, and he steered me towards a treatment choice that in retrospect I consider to be the optimal one.

At all times I was treated with respect and as a partner in my choice of treatment. I look forward to a continuing relationship with Dr. Lampe and his staff as I navigate through my medical issues.

Dr. Lampe is great. I agree with his conservative approach to my problem. If I had been going to just about any other doctor, I'd probably would have had surgery by now. He takes his time, listens, and cares about patient health.

Dr. Lampe knows his stuff. I like that he closely considers all the possibilities instead of just jumping to conclusions. He takes each case seriously and really listens.

Several years ago Dr. Lampe, recommended I have the ablation procedure. Unfortunately, I was too frightened at the time to do so. So, today when I saw Dr. Lampe, he once again very gently explained how an ablation might help me feel better. I am ready to feel better. Dr. Lampe was like a ministering angel. Also, his PA Blaire was so kind to me.

The meals and the service with the kitchen was not good at all. The doctors and nurses and the best ever. Can't find better anywhere. But if you have family members who can bring you your food I recommend it. I pay for this service and all three of my meals were terrible. I would not give that to a well person much less a sick person. Service's was terrible.

This was my first visit with Dr. Lampe. He was interested in my heart concerns and explained to me the best way to handle the situation for now. He was understanding and patient with his new patient. I was comfortable with his suggestions and at no time did I feel rushed. I would be happy to recommend him to anyone needing his advisement and care.

Felt very comfortable with Dr. Lampe. Explained options, pros and cons, clearly. He seemed knowledgeable and I could tell he had reviewed by medical history thoroughly. I appreciated that he admitted when he did not know the answer to one question, he committed to learning more and find the answer.

Wait times were minimal. Staff friendly, knowledgeable. Doctor was thorough, personable. Highly recommend.

Dr. Lampe thoroughly explained his findings and suggested course of action. He listened patiently to my concerns.

Dr. Lampe explained my procedure very well and implanted the pacemaker without any complications. Couldn’t have asked for a better doctor.

Appointments are always on time. Staff is always polite and helpful. And Dr. Lampe takes the time to have a discussion with you. He doesn’t rush in and rush out of the room. He seems experienced and knowledgeable, and he sets reasonable expectations.

Dr. Charles V. Lampe is a real rock star among surgeons. He expertly placed my AICD and thereby extended my life. He also is very personable and is an all-around good fellow. I highly recommend him.
