Charlie Brown's Neighborhood Bar & Grill, San Antonio TX

The ribeye was delicious and cooked right. Five stars if I could have had some green beans without spending another 3.25. Good, friendly service. The booths leave a little bit to be desired; not the most comfortable place to sit.

This is the best bar and grill the food is great the drinks are great as well. The staff is the best the Atmosphere is great!

Went in on the night of Memorial Day, and was astounded by decently priced wings. The Butt Burners were fiery and delicious. Service was great, and the bar wasn't loud or roudy. We will definitely be back.

Friend and I were in the area and this Neighborhood Bar on my list to try and we were not disappointed. It was a Thursday night and they had trivia going, so we sat at the bar. Best decision to have a friendly bartender that we started with a couple of beers. I asked for the Guinness and was asked regular or large. Who can say no to a large Guinness, but I was astonished when it came out in a 24oz mug with a perfect pour. Friend was vegetarian and he got the Veggie burger that he said was good. I got the Spicy Philly and tots. The sandwich was huge with meat, cheese, jalapenos, peppers and mushrooms. The tots are worth just driving over to this bar. They were cooked perfectly and I dipped a little in the mayonnaise that tasted house made because I usually don't like mayo. If you are in this area, stop by here for good food, big drinks and great company.

We were greated at our table by Tom, who was super pleasant and welcoming while giving us a run down of the draft beer choices. He then took our order and came back with 2 frosted mugs filled with Shiner beer. Tom took great care of us that evening. We later found out through conversation that Tom is a manager. Most places managers hide in the back but not this guy. Tom has definitely earned my respect and business as we will be coming back for the great food, cold beer and amazing service.

I love this place. Great for company get togethers or just out with friends. Been a repeat customer for years.

There once was a time back in the Day, that you got great service here! Now the bartender priority is
1) chat with the other bartender
2) check their phone
3) go back and chat with the other bartender!
4) maybe take a customers order?

Hands down THE BEST food for bars. Food is extraordinary. The place is fun, service is top notch. I do recommend.

This is easily my favorite bar and restaurant in San Antonio. The food is unmatched and I always feel like family when I come in. I work close and get treated like royalty whenever I come in. Everything you could hope for when it comes to service and quality of food is beyond anything I've experienced. I pride myself on recommending a good food and bar experience and I am lifer to this establishment and will always consider this place my home

All I've gotten everything is the Philly. It's outstanding. I here the wings are amazing. Service is great with some of the nicest servers in the business.

Some of the best bar food in town! I recommend the Philly cheese steak, tater tots, and chicken fried steak. Their steak night is also really good as are their nachos. They've added something like 16 big screen TVs recently so it's a great place for watching sports. Staff are pretty friendly but more importantly they are efficient so don't be afraid if you walk in and it's busy. They keep things moving really well.

Food is good. Service is great. Attentive and friendly.

Came here for the first time and was immediately shown attitude by Bartender Lindsey after I presenting my Texas Government issued non-commissioned security license issued by the Department of Public Safety. The bartender is clearly incompetent as she stated, "I've never seen this before, it has to be a Texas issued license. " Which it was. Just because you've never seen this ID before doesn't mean it isn't valid. You've lost my business for life, don't have time for ignorant bartenders with horrible customer service. It only takes a simple Google search to validate an ID.
