Chart House, San Antonio TX

Make reservation in advance to avoid long wait. We waited over two hours before getting our table.
Great view. Okay food, okay drinks, okaye vibe!
Putting some info on the window about the view would be good as it revolves around and gives a 360degree view of San Antonio!

My son called this restaurant, "Applebee's in the sky" because the food was good, but not fantastic.
The novelty of eating in a restaurant with a revolving dining room was worth it to me, though.

Birthday dinner for our fifth year in a row. Our server Nick was great and very personable.

We started dinner with the calamri and a salad along with prime rib for the entree

Ok if I could give this place 0 stars i would, if you want to see the scenery go to the bar or the observation deck. Do not waste your money on dinner. The food was sub-par at best, it was my wife’s birthday and she ordered the lava cake for dessert, but was told oh sorry that takes 45 mins to make you can have ice cream. If you cant honor whats on your menu don't have it on the menu. If your ok with wasting your money on not so good food than this is your place. Total waste of our time and money. This place is garbage.

A little pricey, but well worth it for a special occasion. The food was excellent, and our waiter was very informative. Think of it as a dinner and a show. The show being the view from the restaurant as it slowly rotates to get wonderful views of the city.

Came to celebrate my anniversary and was very disappointed with the service we received.the food was good but nothing worth coming back for.our server was forgetful and inattentive although it seemed he maybe had one other table.to top it all off, he did nothing special for our anniversary which you would expect coming to a nice restaurant like this.it wouldve been fine if everything else didnt also go wrong.first and last time visiting.only thing that kept me calm was the ambiance and beautiful skyline but im okay with seeing it just once.

Is there anyone there to answer? I have tried multiple times to get in touch with someone over the phone and no one answers. The website is faulty and can not fully reserve a dinner date. Please answer!

We went for lunch at 1: 30 but lunch menu was not available (lunch ends at 2). Three of the four items we ordered were not available until after 4: 30 but that was not noted on the menu. Why insist that we order off the dinner menu if those items (including the chefs choice) are not available? We gave up. Drank half my iced tea, paid for parking and left a nominal tip.

We're here on vacation: this was a place I wanted to visit since I was last here for the World's Fair in 1968. Fail. Oh, I forgot to add that the cloth napkin had food remnants. Not stains, crusty bits.

My wife's steak was fantastic. My swordfish, not so much.
Appetizers were great. Recommend Shrimp avocado mango stack and mushrooms.

View was fantastic.

The service in the bar is below standard, the tables were dirty.they do not allow families to use the bar area, so it's either the observation deck, restaurant fir families.

You go there to see the san antonio at the high tower. The prices are fair. I wish they had more verities. But I have to settle and go there to drink very nice. Day time would be better and night more romantic minus the wait time its great.

We had a reservation for a table next to the window, but when we got there we didn’t have what we asked for. Fortunately within about 10 minutes, got us a table that we wanted. The food was tasty. A bit pricey, but worth the view. The restaurant rotates all around within an hour. Beautiful view! Fun elevator ride. Only thing, needs a better airflow and especially conditioning! It gets very hot from the sun

The food was very good we had the pasta and shrimp which was excellent and the sirloin steak which had a little too much fat but was good. The only complaint was it was a bit warm and the elevator took over 30 minutes to take us down but we did get to enjoy the view.

Okay first time visiting and had a Blast. The Chart House food was exceptional.especially the Prime Rib. We were celebrating a friends birthday and had the bar room reserved with Nick as our server. The Service was Top Tier! Nick was awesome and made the experience even better. He singlehandedly served almost 20 people and did it flawlessly.no one wanted for anything and we drank multiple Drinks. The view was breathtaking and even better when the sun went down.we caught the observation deck and it was great also.then on the way out we caught a Carshow thay had a Hellcat on display.man it was AWESOME. Hey Chart House. Good Job! Oh and you should probably promote Nick or give him a Helluva raise because next time we are on San Antonio again Im bringing the whole family there!
