Chase Bank reviews
10This branch is absolutely awful! If I could zero stars I would. They refuse to help or allow you to talk with someone. They are rude when you ask questions. It seems like their goal is to push you along and anything that is asked of them they all act like the customer is a nuisance.
Chase customer for over 12 years, politely ask for a $2.50 non chase atm fee to get waved. I am told no, doesn’t matter that I keep a nice balance with no earned interest. Turns out they were happy to void out $1,900 in insufficient fund charges to a Reddit user (they provided proof through screen shots).
Chase punishes those in good financial standings it seems. The credit union i switched to down the road doesn’t have out of network atm fees OR minimum balances. Plus pays interest on checking and saving. Thanks for opening my eyes on that one chase.
Here’s the kicker, I am told they only do 3 overdraft fee ($35 each) and one account fee refund a year per account. I have never had an overdraft fee in all my years with chase, but you stand firm on $2.50. Smooth brains working here.
I read some reviews before submitting mine, looks like I am not the only who is not happy about this place. I assume that things like opening an account is the most basic business that a banker can do. I went there to open an account and the lady said they don't have people who can do it, unbelievable! I saw at least three bankers sitting there doing nothing. Of course I knew I can do it online. The reason why I went the branch was because I would love to get serviced in person so that I can ask some questions. Apparently, they don't care about their customers.
I’m beyond frustrated now because of the laziness of these people. I came into add a savings account and the women assures me to just do it online cause it’s “so easy”. Yeah well it is easy if you know the difference between a savings and a cd which I do not. What a waste of time. Guess I’ll go to another location. Also wanted to cash my checks with the teller and was referred to the atm machine. If you like banking in person do not go to this location
When we arrived, there was no line. After 10 minutes, we were told we would be helped shortly. After 15 mintues, there were 5 customers in line and the banker comes out to tell us that we will need to make an appt at a later time. We had a very simple account change to make, and they had plenty of time to help and chose not too. Very frustrating expetience!
No one on the line, And the person doesn't show up. The lady make call and nobody answer. But she still want me wait for10 more mins for the person who doesn't show up.does't make sense.
If you speak Mandarin, Arabic, or Korean you will be able to do business here. Unfortunately, I do not and made it extremely difficult to communicate in setting up a business account. The people are nice but you need to be able to clearly communicate with your banker.
Went to open a personal and business acct.the business rep wasn’t there. I work full time during the week so weekends are the only time I have to spend an hour or two setting up a bank account. Why keep sending me all of these offers when you can’t execute?
If i could give zero rating I would! While on vacation out of state I discovering my checking account would totally wiped out, I contacted my “Private Client Banker”, after waiting an hour for him to return my call, “because he was with another client” I called until I finally found out I needed to contact Claims. After talking to that rude person, she told me to contact branch and close the account. Here we go again! After many calls and being told I was being transferred to manager, (which didn’t happen) I was finally told “there was nothing they could do to help me” now this was a large amount of money taken from my account! They accessed my saving also. I could contact ‘Fraud’, 2 hours later, after much crying, asking for help to close my account, transfer my debit card to my savings, and anyone, someone please just tell me what is going on. Nothing was resolved. I had to return early from my vacation. I will try this morning to find out answers! But from other reviews, I feel it won’t do me any good. This is NOT a bank I would recommend to anyone.
