Che Gaucho, Tomball TX

I brought my parents who are born and raised in Argentina here and it was disappointing. The milanesa was very thin (chicken and beef) and not coasted in enough breaded seasoning there was no flavor, along with a lemon that was pointless being as thin as it was.
On a good note the alfajores were delicious but the pasta frola was old with the dulce de membrillo that was painted on.
Empanadas are a hit or miss, depending which kind you get.

I wanted to support a small local business but I don't think we'll be returning. The waitress was attentive and nice! The 1 star is for the food. Ordered a chicken milanesa sandwich and my bread was over toasted it was hard to bite into. My sweet potato fries were almost black like cooked in really old oil that hadn't been changed. The chicken empanadas were bland and had no flavor and pricy for $3 each. I found a menu from last year and they have raised their prices for the small portions given. They have table cloths on the tables that only get dusted off after they clean off the dirty dishes. I found that to be very unsanitary.

It was my wife's first time eating Argentinian food, or asado argentino" and she absolutely loved it, Everything was delicious every single piece of meat on that plate was cook the way I wanted, the fries were incredible, she even tried morcillas wich I was very surprised about that, even my tea was great, with out mentioning the delicious dessert alfajores after the meal, we are totally coming back. As they say in Argentina un aplauso para el asador" they deserve many aplausos because they did great, totally recommend this place you won't regret it.

I have been wanting to try this quaint little restaurant for sometime. Today, chris and i finally did and it did not disappoint!

The food was excellent. The hostess was a true dear.the atmosphere was great. The food was hot, fresh and came out fast.

This is an Argentinian restaurant. Their empanadas so amazing! The chimichurri to die for. I even bought a jar of the original to bring home. I don't have one bad thing to say about this restaurant.

I have been in Tomball for 20 years and I am all about supporting locally owned and operated businesses. This place gets 5 s!

We had such an amazing experience here. The food was fast and tasted fantastic. The staff was delightful and made us feel like we were sitting down to eat with the whole family in the restaurant. The music isn’t too loud and gives a nice vibe to the place. We’re already planning our next visit back! Try the humita empanada!

We came here just searching for any place in maps. We ordered the steak combo. It was amazing. Rivals any of the brazilian steakhouse around houston.
A true hidden gem.

Gracious staff, helpful chef. They have byob and were accommodating to our requests for vegetarian food. Will sure recommend and go again.

This has become our go-to place for date nights. Food is really good, service is quick and you have the option to eat inside or out.

I've never been to an Argentine restaurant before. It was pretty good. Similar enough to Mexican food that I wasn't shocked. But different enough to be novel.

Food was good. Service was great. Atmosphere pretty typical of a decent restaurant.

A diamond was just discovered! The Empanadas are fantastic. The ambience is awesome. As a person who has been to Argentina many times, I would say that the food is very authentic, flavorful and the chimichuri sauce is the best in the world!

An instant favorite for my wife and I. We'll be visiting regularly!

I stopped by last night for dinner. I've seen this place and wondered about it. I finally gave it a try. I wasn't disappointed. I'll be back to enjoy the place by dining in.so I'll be updating this soon.

I used to go there but last two times been disappointed. They shrank the portions. The empanadas are good but tiny and $2.75 each you expect more, the choripan has big bread small chorizo, the beef is pan grilled and not wood grilled as in traditional Argentinian flair. You end up paying $25-$30 for an average meal. You are better off in Morfi Argentino.unfortunately they are far.

We had an early Christmas gathering with family and ordered take out from Che Gaucho. Highly recommend, everything was delicious and made impeccably. We had the Asado Argentina, rice and mashed potatoes, Vacio, 2 dozen empanadas - humitas, eggplant, spicy beef and chipotle chicken. The meat was perfect, I regret not ordering more empanadas. Zero left overs everyone said it was delish! For desserts we got the Flan - OMG, must try. Alfajores de Maciena and pasta frolla - so yummy. We absolutely will be back to dine in, the place is so cozy and nice. You can tell the people in the kitchen and serving love their jobs.

The sandwiches there are good! Don't pay the outrageous price for the grilled meat. It has good flavor, but it is cheap, hard meat! Other than that it's a good place!
