Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, San Marcos TX

Pretty good, very busy and crowded. I got potato soup and 4 sides. Service was friendly and prices are reasonable.

Food and service were great. Only reason why I am taking a star off is because they ran out of take out boxes so we were forced to use bowls that sadly didn't fit all of our food. It could be because of the storm and possibly they haven't been able to get their deliveries. But everything else was great!

This was my second time to a Cheddars restaurant. Met up w/family on Thursday evening for an early Valentines dinner. The San Marcos location is easy to get to. It’s fairly new, so it was beautiful and clean. Social distancing could have been better, but I was hungry. Everyone’s food looked delicious and after they were done eating, I asked if they were happy and satisfied w/their meals. They all agreed it was delicious. The only complaint was my nephew didn’t like that every time he took a bite out his burger it some of the veggies would slide out. Overall very good ambiance and great customer service. They were pretty busy and food came out fairly quick.

This place was so packed on a Saturday night. The food is always on point. There were some Instagram influencers in the back shirtless for some reason but everything considered that wasn't a reason not to go in. There are stores to shop at while you wait for tables to open up. They have a decent amount of parking too.

Omg! The steak is the best steak I’ve ever had! AMAZING! Will come back for more. And the coconut shrimp with the sauce is great and I don’t even eat fried shrimp but their’s was life changing!

Very friendly staff. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I got honey wine dressing for my salad and it tasted like a creamy more sweet honey mustard. The chicken pot pie was fantastic, ate every bite. The crust was buttery and flaky, the contents were very hardy with acutal chunks of roasted chicken. The vegetables in the pie were perfectly done. Sweet tea was also very tasty and delicious.

The food was delicious the place is so sanitized and clean even the bathrooms I'm so happy God bless the cheddar restaurant chain, the people are so friendly also.

Got in the queue for a table, and they told me it would be a 30 minute wait.after waiting for 40 minutes, i called to ask about the wait they told me that they gave me the wrong time and it would be another hour for a table.

We went for our Anniversary 2 days prior due to it being on 2/14/21. My husband had a steak, I had a combo plate with ribs and fried coconut shrimp. It was ok but my ribs were a little toasted and coconut shrimp was barely warm. Now my grandson had chicken tenders and that was a whole lot better than our big plates. Waiter kept messing our tickets with my daughters and she end up getting a free steak instead of my husband. The best dis for us was the sweet croissant. We'll try again hopefully it'll be better.

Food was great! Ribs were very meaty and tasty. Ordered the chocolate cake, the slice was huge, took me 3 days to finish it, but I'm not complaining, I'll get it again.
