Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Selma TX

I really enjoyed this place it was my first time going. It took a little while for my food to come out, but the waiter was every informative and explained why they were running behind. My over all experience was excellent.

This time the steak I ordered medium well came out well done, no pink at all. Otherwise, we enjoyed the rest of our meal.

I wouldn’t even give this place a one star. I was so very disappointed. My first tim going was right after the whole Covid thing when things own back up. The wait was soooo long. Which I understand, I waited. But when I finally got seated the food and service was horrible. I decided to give them another chance a year later. Wait wasn’t as long, but the food was still horrible. Order two steak plates, both came out cold and stew was not cooked like at all. So we called her the waitress and let her know what was going on. She took her plates back to the kitchen and literally brought them back five minutes later. They literally put my $20 steaks in the microwave. I was so upset but started eating it again UNTIL I cut into it more and it was still raw. Asked for the manger and at this point he had no remorse and just told us he can cook them again they’ve already been sent back once this will be the third time trying to get it right. I had already been there 2 hours starving. I was so disappointed. Never again wil I go back!

Mmmm their ribs are so tender with a very thick smokey and sweet BBQ sauce. Love that you can checkout right at your table!

So originally I gave this restaurant a 1 star review due to the not so great experience I had however, I have to say after expressing my concerns to the Manager, Darius he made sure to resolve the issue and since then tge service and experience has been stellar. I'm glad I gave the establishment another chance, as the staff has proven themselves worthy of 5 stars in my book.

Meh. It's cool. Very ordinary. Nothing special that makes me want to return. The staff was okay. The food was ok. The overall experience was ok.

Nothing special. The hostes sited us right next to a big party and the rest of the section was empty, why? Big party, having fun, making noise. When we asked politely to change table, she gave us that "Look". But we kept it nice and she moved us one table down from where we were. Our waitress was very nice, checking on us, fillip up our drinks, Good job there. Spinach dip something was missing from the taste, chips and salsa was OK, I order the salmon in bourbon glaze, nothing special.

Food used to be pretty good and portions were nicely sized, not so much anymore

Had the sirloin steak with grilled shrimp. The steak was undercooked but they took it back and made good. My mouth waters just thinking about the me.

Just went to cheddars 8: 07 pm monday night 10/11/2021. After looking in the lounge area to see if there was an empty booth to which there were multiple available. I kindly asked the hostess if we could be seated in a booth in the bar area to which she replied “ there are no booths available in the bar. ” Wrong, I then stated I did see availability to which she said “ we have no servers. ” I said well we would like to watch the football game while we eat dinner. She said “ we could sit at the bar. ” No Thank you! Glad you have all the business you need as you don’t seem to feel the need to offer any hospitality at all. Really people.

We waited more than an hour in the parking lot to be called.to tell us no torment waiters.

My first time at Cheddar's and I really enjoyed the food. The staff was pleasant and our server was great.

The food was delicious and out in a timely manner. The server we had was great too. Definitely recommend. Good portions too.

The food was really good. Our pasta was just warm when it came out but it was good. The chicken tenders and coconut shrimp was amazing! The service was kinda a slow. But all things considered we would go back!

Wasn't bad. Service and food were great; however it was like eating in a freezer. Even a few other folks near us mentioned the same issue. We didn't stay long. Took our food to go shortly after getting it.

Not impressed. Service was extremely slow. Waitress skipped me during the drink orders. When she finally took it, it was a disappointing. Tried to order an Arnold Palmer they were out of lemon aide so I asked for a vodka 7 they don't have 7 up fine I have a beer. When I finally got my beer itwas hot and tasted sour. Got food it was cold didn't eat it. The only worth my time was the crescent rolls they serve. And I seriously doubt they were made in house. Pictures on menu looked delicious to bad the real food didn't measure up.
