Chicken Express, Amarillo TX

First time in Texas, and the corn bite things are so good, I finished the family pack in less than an hour. Definitely going to have to go back when I visit Texas again.

The worse experience ever. I only ordered an chicken strip meal with fries, okra and a small jalapeño poppers. I was the only customer in line and when I got my food my fries were not cooked it looked like they dipped in grease and served them. The okra and poppers were burnt. The customer service was ok but the food sucks. It’s doesn’t help that the restaurant is always filthy. As good as the tea is I highly doubt they wash urns!

I’ve picked up uber eats orders here four times. Every single time they ignore me at the counter for easily ten minutes straight. This time I decided to go through the drive through because they seem to give that priority, and was told to go inside. Well, I wouldn’t mind if you didn’t act like I wasn’t there for the minutes.

Easily the worst Chicken Express I’ve ever been to. The staff was completely disorganized with zero leadership. It took 35 minutes to get food because they would serve whoever went to the counter to complain. Food was undercooked. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.

Their prices are RIDICULOUS. Charging damn near $4.00 for a child sized drink that they claim is a adult medium drink! It's common since telling the difference between what a Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large cup is.just when u think the world can't get any dumber.

Overpriced chicken the atmosphere is not suitable for my grandkids horrible sewer smell in the lobby and restrooms. Employees are nice and the food is okay

It's chicken, it's express, it's yummy! Bathrooms smelled strongly of chemicals, but hey, at least you know they got cleaned!

Took over 15 min at the drive through. We were the only ones there. Inside and out. 7: 30pm on a Monday. Staff was in no rush. Just chit chatting.

Excellent chicken place I really like this place. They cooked up the chicken fresh and fixed our side dishes as we waited they were Great

Chicken Express has the best chicken and sides, but this location is disgusting. It is unclean, employees hanging out by the drive-thru smoking and fighting with each other, won’t answer the drive thru, and then say they are out of chicken.

Way too expensive for the portion size. Four express tenders 11.99? Little bitty tenders. Good quality though.

I decided to try this place when I visited Texas for the first time. I was not disappointed. The chicken was very good and the tea was amazing. I will definitely eat here again if I ever go back to Texas.

I love sweet tea and at this location I ask for half sweet, half unsweetened because the tea is so overwhelming sweet. However its still stupid sweet. Either the staff doesn't do as requested or the tea is to damn sweet to begin with.

Cleanliness of tables and seats look like they are not ever cleaned up. They have a lot of people working just standing around. Those people could be scrubbing the floors and tables and chairs and windows.

Terrible service. All they had was warm tea. The workers were rude. My order was wrong. Went back up and told them it was wrong and they gave me a totally different order that was still wrong. No gravy on the hard as hell mashed potatoes. I'll never go back to this what ever it was. If I could give 0 stars I would

Their food is great, as always but, their customer service LITERALLY throws them over the top.
In this case, their dine-in area is closed, due to short staffing. I'm unable to go through the drive-thru because I drive a semi (a 13'-6" tall truck cannot fit through a 9'-6" opening). They will open up the dining area and allow me to come inside to place my order. BTW: The Catfish is killer!

I love chicken express but this location gives the chain a bad rap. The service here is not just slow but it seems the workers actively avoid working. The workers could not care less about the customers. I paid for water but they never gave me cups. When I got up to get my own cup they accused me of stealing and said they have to get the water for me. Needless to say, we asked for a refund and went across the street to eat.
