Chicken Express, Southlake TX

The service was very good at this location. Our food was hot and fresh along with some amazing sweet tea. You need to try the cheese sticks for sure!

I love Chicken Express but this location has gone downhill in the last few years. 3 of the last 5 times I’ve picked up food to go from here I have gotten home and had no gravy. ALL THREE TIMES I ORDERED MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY. Tonight we were there right before closing and were told they didn’t have enough tenders for our order. We were fine with substituting a few pieces of chicken. If they were out of gravy they should have said something. My past experience shows that more likely it is laziness and lack of attention to detail. Next time I get a craving I will be trying the one on Northwest Highway.

I stop because the line was short and the chicken express near my home is good. I thought this location would be good too. The fish was super salty, my tea was drinkable…. I gave it a two star because my corn nuggets were awesome! I loved my corn nuggets. He kept my change, it was $11? Something and I gave him $15 and he rushed me off and gave me my food so fast and closed the window. I was like okay, God bless you my guy! Enjoy the change! I won’t ever stop at this location ever again.

They are ALWAYS out is something, often it's Chicken. No business at the middle of lunch (noon) and they are short on pieces for a small order. Not a big deal on occasion, but this has become their MO. For the last several months they are always deficient on some item or really enemic looking chicken. They seem to have a full team, the employees are friendly, it's just not a well run location. Poor management. It's close to me but I'll go further out for better options.

This is by far the best chicken express in Dallas Fort Worth, amazing service and tasty food. Owners and management’ run a tight ship here!

Great customer service. We orderd three piece chicken tender meal with fried okra a biscuit and a two piece fried chicken meal with fried okra and mashed potatoes and gravy. Was out of chicken breast so they made more fresh and brought all the food out at once. Will return again when in the area.

From the times I've been here at this location, their food is always fresh and hot. Staff is always friendly. Orders are always correct. My favorite Chicken E location. Keep up the good work!

My customer-centric exchange with the cashier today: Wait for employees to finish their conversation without acknowledging me, look up and wait for me to speak (I always make them do it in this game of chicken), finally I get a "yup" as an indicator that I should place my order. I place ny order in a normal exchange and pay, she wraps my card in the receipt and hands it to me, walking off without a word as, apparently as the indicator that we're done here - you are dismissed. Someone from the kitchen brought me my food, which raised the service rating from 1 to 3. Finally, the food - apparently nuked/warmed up cheese sticks.

Would you call that good customer service, leaving the customer feeling valued and fostering an atmosphere that would drive repeat business? Ummm - nope. I think I'm done here. Take lessons on how to do this from. The Ardmore OK location.

Best drive through experience I've had in awhile! I ordered lunch through the drive through on Sunday afternoon and the gentleman who took my order was very friendly, positive and got our orders fixed up right. The spicy tenders were very good and I had forgotten how good Chicken E's fries are. Both the half and half tea and the Dr Pepper were on point. A great stop for a quick lunch. Thanks for the great service!
