Chicken Express, Comfort TX

Small pieces, but quick, which is what my concern was at the time. Courteous employees, but that's to be expected in a small Texas town where people are still largely raised with manners. Would be four stars if pieces were bigger.

Everything we ordered was delicious, which was a pleasant surprise seeing that it was being run by all young folks. I'm just saying ‍️

It was a bit dirty but it is as you expect from any spot in the middle of nowhere. I liked that when I didn't want a drink with my meal that they let me swap it for another side. The fried okra is good and so is the mash potato. I should have gotten the spicy chicken since the regular was a bit bland.

I have to pay for sauce to go with my food now? You just lost my business. That is ridiculous. That’s like saying I have to pay extra for the batter on my fried chicken or the ice in my drink.
Good grief. Don't need or want your food that bad.

Super Bowl day! Never coming here again. Sat in the drive through for a long time. What’s the point of fast food if it’s going to take 20 minutes?

They have a $5 special.among the choices are four full chicken wings, a side, and a medium drink. Dinner for two seniors for under $10!

Went to Comfort's Chicken Express for lateunch. Food OK but had to ask twice for someone to clean tabletops. The guy said just a minute & disappeared into the back. Asked again, later, same response. We cleaned the booth, but stupidly thought eventually someone would come clean it properly. Wrong. Food good as always. When we left I explained to the man at the cash register that we disliked eating in a dirty booth & he said I understand. Sorry. We left, sorry also.

They finally started selling spicy chicken! Decided to try it since I prefer the spicy tenders over standard tenders from most other fast food chicken joints and these were on par with most everybody else. The spicy tenders were a little smaller in size than the normal tenders but they did give me one extra than what I ordered. Definitely worth a try if in a rush and like spicy tenders.

I've been to Chicken Express on many occasions I stopped at the one in Comfort Texas me and a friend coming back from San Antonio we are done they did not get the order right and left half the food that we purchase off the list we had a film left in our mouth from the chicken because the shortening had not been changed if you want a bad meal then go ahead and stop by Chicken Express in Comfort Texas although the one in Kerrville happens to have great food I just think it's the crew

Great staff, they went out of their way to be accommodating. The chicken was freshly cooked and the sides were fresh too

Absolute worst staff in the history of any business. 25 min sitting at the window. No one came to tell me my one piece of fish would be that long. And they were horribly rude.

Is hands down the best chicken express that I've ate at.
The gentleman and his wife who manage it, along with the rest of their team get a big thumbs up.
I would personally recommend this chicken express to anyone traveling through or the people who live in comfort or close by.

The first time I saw chicken express, I thought it was going to be horrific. It is my absolute favorite fast food chicken restaurant! Literally everything they serve is better than any competitor! I HATE french fries, but after trying theirs, I became addicted and order them any time I go. I am ashamed of how often I eat there

I had a nice experience at the chicken place the food was good chicken with fresh people were very nice and it was a pretty good-sized store pretty well-stocked good spot for travelers I thought it was a good experience p

Very unhappy with our experience! We were told an 8 minute wait.finally after a 40 min wait, they told us the chicken tenders we ordered were out, and so they replaced one with a chicken leg. The tables were dirty with grease and food bits, bathrooms filthy and smelled of urine.
Stay away from here; it’s not far to much better restaurants.

I Enjoyed hot fresh chicken and my husband had fish which was delicious. The service was friendly and the restaurant clean and stocked.

Food is good but the service is painfully slow. It took 40 minutes for a drive-thru order of chicken tenders, corn nuggets, and okra.

Added: Most recent visit, got okra that tasted strange. A couple hours later I was violently ill. Won't be coming back.
