Chilango’s Mexican Restaurant, Texarkana AR

Horrible service, got my order wrong, beans were cold, never offered a refill nor more salsa. Never going back.

Wish i could give 0 stars wanted to try something new called ahead to see if they had alchol after reading a review they lost their license i was told they had alchol so i went i was sat down and they took their time to even take the order lady that took my order acted lile she spoke very little english asked for spicy queso got white queso that looked like it come from a can not even hot plates where brought out asked for a salad without the shell and enchiladas the salad looked like it had cheese wiz sprayed on it. When something was said about the queso the waitress just gave me a go to hell look. To see some reviews talking about this resturant is the best tx mex in town is by far wrong this is the worst tx mex i have seen and had so far.

My favorite place, I recommend the stuffed avacado, Everything is super Fresh and authenticfully made. We are always pleasantly greeted by the staff.also they can seat up to six comfortablly or larger. But the food is just really the best in town in my opinion. Eat well Eat good.

My husband and I shared a chicken fajita chimichanga plate, it was delicious, perfect for sharing as there were two chimies! My husband loves to order Arnold Palmers and it was the best that he had in a long time, tasted like fresh squeezed lemonade.

Food was blane. We got Hard Tacos, A Dinner plate and a Chicken Taco Salad. First Chicken on Taco Salad was pink and taste like it came out of can. Shell was huge with hardly any fillings. Hard Tacos we soggy and fell apart, meat was unseasoned. The Dinner plate had Enchilada, Some kindof bean tostito, and a cheese something, all the food needed salt and pepper and maybe so taco seasoning, which i didnt have. We also ordered Chips, queso and guacamole before dinner, never got more chips or drinks the whole meal. Our server was lost she had no idea what the special was on board and what came with what. Beans were runny and rice was just blane.

The food was good. Was a large lunch portion. Service was wonderful. The restaurant was hot, and it felt like they didn't have the air conditioner on.
Also said they lost their liquor license and had no alcohol drinks available. That's not good for a Mexican restaurant!

Passing thru, saw it had a good rating and was hungry for Mexican. Was not disappointed! Very good enchiladas, and service was top notch! Very much recommended if in the Texarkana area!

Profesinal, polite personel, I did not had a car to go to a pharmacy and the Owner offered and gave me a ride and drop me off at the Hotel.now that is a Super goid and friendly service.for ever thankful.

All time favorite restaurant! The food is delicious always! The people that work there treat you like your family every time

My shredded chicken looked like it came out of a can, it was Luke warm and bland. Staff was friendly but they had little kids going in and out the kitchen.

Customer service was excellent from the phone call, to the warm greeting when I arrived to pick-up my to-go order. She remembered my name and everything. I got the chicken Rancheros Chilangos, and it’s fantastic! The chicken isn’t dry at all. Mexican food is my favorite of all time, and Chilango’s never disappoints!

People were very nice. Very quick.
Had tacos birria, fried jalapeño and horchata. The flavor of the tacos and broth were good. However, i didn't expect 5 tiny tacos. I would have liked to have had larger tortillas to stuff with goodness and dip in the broth. The rice had a good flavor and texture. The jalapeño was good, kinda cold tho and not a lot of spice. The hot sauce with the tacos had a good flavor and spice to it. Chips and salsa were average. Grand total was around 22 dollars for me to eat.
My only real disappointment was the horchata. Couldn't taste any cinnamon and just had a light rice flavor, but it was still drinkable. I would definitely eat here again to try some other things.

Bad service no one greets or sits u and they took the order wrong not just that never come back to see if we needed anything we ended up leaving never again.food was not good no flavor to anything.

Chips were fresh, and salsa was pretty good.

Second time here.first time I had the chile colorado. It was so good, I came back!

This time I tried the steak sopes. They were very tasty. Not too doughy. The rice and beanz were good to go.

They have an amazing agua de jamaica. Served up in a tall mug!

Great Mexican food!

Four stars due to store bought torts.

Basic, generic, run of the mill, TexMex Restaurant. I was hoping to try something different since the wife and I found a rare time that we were together and not in Shreveport. We really had our eyes set on The Burger Shoppe, but it closed too early. We probably should've known that Chilango's wasn't going to knock our socks off, but honestly, we expected ALOT more. Really, it was on an even lower scale than Posados. I shouldn't be so harsh. Food decent, chips & salsa decent, atmosphere decent. Only thing I'll rate at a 10 of 10 was our waiter. Very attentive, didn't have to watch him walk by 6 or so times before he realized I was trying to get his attention.
