My daughter had to see the geneticist and he was fabulous but my real reason for leaving such a great review is the woman that drew her blood! Her name is Shemica and she was the most amazing person! My daughter over reacts to needles normally and this beautiful woman never wasted any time! She was calming and talking and I have NEVER seen someone get a needle in a vein that quick in my entire life! We cannot stop talking about her!

It was so Awesome and Beautiful inside, and outside of the Building, and very fast pace in there, but I am pleased with everything there!

In all the specialties in which my child has been treated, they have treated me very well, but now the nurse, in the midst of her kindness, told my child a comment that was definitely unnecessary and the truth is that it bothered me a lot.
For the rest, I am very grateful to Dr. Timothy Chow for being so kind and clear on the subject of allergies.

Edit: I called the CARE line over a week ago when they responded to another review of mine and left a message. Still waiting. Children’s reads the reviews and encourages you to call but they honestly don’t care either way.

Oh man. Where do I begin? My experience at children’s was a nightmare and I strongly urge anyone to seek care for their child elsewhere.

We were referred to our ENT for my toddler who was snoring loudly and had recurring ear infections. We saw Dr. Veling who checked my daughter and said nothing was wrong with her. No real bedside manner considering she works with children all day. Even though I voiced my concerns and the concerns from other doctors about her snoring, recurring ear infections, and her tonsils she made me seem like I was overreacting. But she said to do a sleep study for my child.

When asked what else to do for my child she prescribed allergy medicine and sarcastically said “good luck giving that to her. ”

Then with the issue of the sleep study. I was told less than two business days that I had to immediately pay over $1k for the sleep study. I don’t understand why it cost so much considering I got one myself and the copay was only $150. So on top of that they like to price hike. The new ENT said to keep the sleep study appointment just in case but honestly it looks like it was a huge waste of money and time.

We ended up switching pediatricians and I again voiced my concerns. They referred me to a new ENT (not at Children’s). This new doctor immediately gave my daughter a hearing test. She had fluid in her ears, and the size of her tonsils were concerning. She also had breathing issues due to the membrane in her nose. She is currently scheduled for surgery next week and I was already relayed all the information and costs in a timely manner.

Just don’t waste your time at Children’s. The doctors are awful. The experience was awful. I was made to feel silly for advocating for my child. On top of that we spent so much money on medical care which she probably didn’t need.

Nice facility. Staffs are nice and well behavedThough i couldnt find family restrooms. Moreover, not every restroom has the diaper changing facilities for child.
