Chili's Grill & Bar, Abilene TX

Chilli's franchise just lost all my business! I came here with 30+ tennis college students and had a horrible experience. 1st off the waiter was, I guess too busy, when I he forgot my water I and I reminded he seemed annoyed. Then they over cooked my steak from medium rear to well done. Again my waiter seemed annoyed when I told him. I asked to speak to the manager and he came out and told me the steak is ready do I want to take it to go. This is after all the tennis players finish eating and left. So I told him no because it's not going to be good and he went ahead and charged me for my drink. As a manager he should have comp my drink.

Ordered to go takeout to keep from cooking and heating up the kitchen. Very friendly server and well prepared meal.

This was the worst experience. It took our server so long to wait on us. We ordered an appetizer and it took ovrr 30 mins. Once I saw another table who arrived 15mins or so after we did and they ordered drinks from the bar and received their appetizers (yes, multiple items) before we did. I inquired politely about our food and she said it is coming. Well 10 more mins passed and another person brought our food and she never came over to check on us again.

Nice restaurant, very clean, fast service, and all the employees were courteous and were there for all our needs. Well done, Chili's.

Been there a few times in the last few months. Same server every time and the guy is great. No complaints from me.

My family and I went on a Wednesday during lunch hour wasn’t busy at all! We placed our order and waited 45 min just to get told our order didn’t go through! Just overall horrible service and wouldn’t recommend eating here!

We are over age 65! We are both having health issues that take us to an out of town MD quite regularly. We both require A LOT of fasting bloodwork, so we are deeply in need of a good nutritious meal that is affordable, ASAP afterward.
For MANY YEARS we went to celebrate ALL BIRTHDAY WEDDING ANNIVERSARIES! The occasion I remember BEST was my first REAL MEAL, AFTER I HAD RECOVERED FROM Pancreatic cancer. UNABLE TO EAT REAL FOOD FOR 18 MONTHS! Chili's waiters and waitresses are carefully selected or trained to be people who seem to ACTUALLY CARE, SO WHEN I NEEDED TO KNOW IF A PARTICULAR MEAL WAS FAT FREE, THEY EITHER ALREADY KNOW OR WILL FIND OUT QUICKLY any question that you ask. THAT SPECIAL OCCASION WAS ALSO MY BIRTHDAY AND THOUGH IT WAS QUITE LATE, 5-10 VERY HAPPY FACES SANG "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" TO ME! I WAS SO TOUCHED BY THIS, that by the time they had finished singing, tears of joy were flowing down my cheeks! I even told of this experience on Facebook that year as "This was my FAVORITE BIRTHDAY EVER! "

Bret the culinary manager did an amazing job remaking my order and the customer service was great. He apologize for the order not being correctly made. He Had that specific item remade to perfection. I really appreciate the professionalism.

We hadn't been to Chili's for a long time and were hesitant during our road trip, but the food was really good.

Came in last night and Andy was super! Drinks were fast and his friendliness was top tier.

I stopped here after a very long trip from California to dfw. I thoroughly enjoyed it, the burger was very juicy, lots of bacon and melted cheese. I ordered a salad on the side and it was a nice big salad for a side salad. The food came out super fast and the drinks were very cold. Overall I was very pleased.

I experienced racism by our server and workers. I was seated for 20min and no one came to get our order or drinks while the other tables next to use who were there after us were getting served. I will never come back again!

Food is great, but only 3 stars as 3 of the last 5 orders for take out or delivery had mistakes. I cannot eat onions and their "garlic dills" are basically like cucumber slices, not hamburger dill slices, and always order without both. Last time was loaded with both and once on the juice, flavor gets into the burger. Before that cheese fries were regular fries. Before that a salad with extra ranch was with no ranch. Need to check them, pay attention. A little quality control from whoever bags them up.
Update.ordered again tonight. Big bacon burger with mustard, extra cheese, lettuce, tomato, no onion, no pickles. What we received was a big bacon burger with nothing, just bacon and meat. Totally dry. No mustard, no cheese, no tomato, no lettuce, just bacon and meat on a dry bun. That's wrong 4 of 6 times now orders been wrong. Have to give them a two star rating now.

The bars premade patron margaritas were great! Chicken Caesar salad was good but a bit over dressed

Our server was nice, and the fries were hot. Otherwise this location was awful. We couldn't finish our cocktails because they were so sweet and the boneless chicken was room temperature, dry and chewy. Worst part though was that I could not even use the restroom because it was soooo dirty. We had to go to the Walmart in the same parking lot to use the restroom before we got back on the road for our trip.
