China Express reviews
2012.50 per adult, 3.00 for a drink, this is a self serve buffet, there is no waiter to bring you drinks, cutlery, or condiments, which I prefer. Small selection of food and sushi but still good quality food. Not to mention very clean restrooms.
Horrible service. The food was cold, sushi had sriracha on top and the sriracha was dry (that means that it was there for the longest time). Some of the food didn’t have taste from 0-10 I’ll give a 1. #NOT #RECOMMENDED
Nice small place, 1st time here and the place is super clean. Food is hot and looks to be made in small batches. My boyfriend loves sushi and is always critical of the sushi he eats and he liked it so for me that’s a good sign. Everything including drinks is self serve so there’s no one is constantly coming to the table so nice as well.
Horrible customer service, the owner is so rude and unprofessional. Chinese food was bad, not fresh and dry. Sushi was ok.
Worst buffet, the food was cold and horrible, including the soda tasted like water. My daughter wanted to leave the second we walked in. Dont waste your money, I don't recommend.
Very little selections food was burnt dried should've went to giant china buffet where it's cheaper and better food and selections
Bad food and it was cold horrible and too expensive better go mcdonal.don’t go to this place
Used to be okay but came here today cause my usual Chinese food place is close on Monday’s and first thing as I came in was that the lady that took my order was kinda rude and nonchalant.but whatever i was just there to get my food and go and to my surprise the food was horrible, chicken was super slimy and flavorless and everything else was just bad and plain, never again.
Absolute worst food I have ever tasted. Slimy meat with just cartilage and breading. Zero flavor in anything. Saw a fly in the mussels. Soups taste like bean farts and swamp water. Even the soda is flavorless like they don’t put enough syrup. Not worth 35 bucks for only 2 people!
Good place to go if you're on a diet. The food is so bad you won't want to eat any of it. Hands down the worst buffet I have ever eaten at. I wasn't even able to identify most of the dishes.
Most horrible food I have ever tasted! Literally slimy meat! Soup taste like straight water! Pepper steak meat slummy and didn’t even have meat texture! In and out in under 10 mins! The absolute only reason I did not complain to the staff is because my husband asked me not to make a scene! I 100000x do not recommend this place! Absolutely not worth $5 much less $35! If I could give -10 stars I would!
This place is always good it's not real huge but the food is good. They also have California rolls for whoever likes that my wife says it's delicious I'm not too much of a fan but everything else is worth it
This place sucks. The food is of the lowest quality and nothing tastes quite right. In the breaded meat for sweet and sour dishes i found something which tasted and felt horribly like gizzard and may have been anything. Maybe mouse?
They serve sushi, I just couldn't.
Finally the price for the buffet would have been fair but after paying the math didn't add up and couldn't get an itemized bill.
It was gross, never going back.
Be aware in the grumpy old Asian lady on the register, her English is horrible, she will ask you if you want water or pay for a drink, with the drink the cost is close to $16 dollars per person; Some food is extremely spicy, the sushi is the best quality and variety y ever see, the down side is the desert area no cakes, no cookies, no ice cream, just some fruit, gelatin and sopalpillas; You can refill your drink all times you want; Be polite and use the gloves and face mask when you serve your food, The service is ok the waitress come from time to time to pick the used plates, just one food have shrimps; There is like 4 TVs with different content, funny cats, Azteca, sports, etc.
Some of the food had been sitting there for a while. Most sauces are improperly prepared. Sushi feels and taste like it has been refrigerated.
I took my sister to enjoy somewhat okay
Food. Was very disappointed ️ everything tasted the same. Egg rolls mini size, meat beef or chicken like cow hide. And vegetable raw. Will never go there that's for sure. I did bring my husband a foam plate and complained that it wasn't the same any more. A Chinese restaurant should have their own cooks. All I see Are Latino's. Don't bother to go and spend alot.
Super Delicious Sushi. Variety of sushi and other sides. There Is miso Soup, and (vietnamies; i think its from there) rice noodle soup and toppings.
Great food, ok customer service. I didn't go to talk to the grumpy old Asian lady at the counter, but to eat some yummy food.
Food is good, but getting to be too expensive for what it has. Should of gone better to Tampenyaki that place on Lee Trevino, more variety for same price.
China Express is the best I can spend hours in that restaurant and enjoy every minute the sushi is delicious and the Chinese food is the bomb I saw most of the sun bowl game there they have the best Covent restrictions you have to wear your mask and your gloves when you serve yourself the service is great and the place is squeaky clean I'll be going there at least once a month it's a great place to catch a game
