Chowrastha - Groceries , Halal Meat & Eatery, Argyle TX

We ordered and paid online and were told it would be 30 minutes. When we showed up on time, the food was not ready. We waited another 20 minutes then asked how much longer. We were told that the person who was making the food was not there, he had just come back and would start making our food. We waited another 20 minutes. Still no food. We waited another 20 minutes. This place has some serious organizational issues. We will not return.

Recently visited this store, they have a great atmosphere with welcoming workers and loved their groceries section

Ordered veg biryani today.got chicken traces. Maybe for biryani base they are using same rice for veg and non veg. *Vegetarian’s be alert while ordering*.

I didn’t accept this from Chowrastha as they are charging more for veg briyani but not responsible for this type of issues.

Got a chance to visit this store their Grocery section was fully stacked and got all Indian items and their meet also looked really fresh

Awesome food, super delicious and well portioned, beautiful ambience, very nice and clean restaurant as well as grocery section systematic and stocked up nicely. Having a place like chowrastra in this area is a big reward for ppl living near by.people working here are so welcoming and humble, I rarely see a restaurant with groceries section this much clean and hygienic kiddos to the entire team of chowrastra at argyle Highly Recommend this place

They make pooris with this frozen rolls. Not sure if its important to you but i was greatly dissapointed as a poori lover.i saw with my own eyes and guy over there confirmed as well. I dont see a reason why we have to go to them instead we can make same with little effort and very less cost. Such a shame we cant find an authentic breakfast item now a days. Only God knows what shortcuts they take with other food items.its better to avoid places like this.

Every time I order snacks, they pack less than what I order. Please check your order before leaving out or you have to make double trips to pick your complete order.

Great restaurant, ambient, very aesthetic, good quality, great food. Me and my family loved this place.

Basically, I am a foodie. And the food here is exquisite. I visit almost once every week, and enjoy the food as much as possible. Trust me, if you go there with a limited budget, you are going to miss out on delicious food.

My first visit to the grocery store. The lady in the billing was nice kind & she loved what she was doing. Not everything is there but small, neat grocery store.

Just now I had a wonderful experience with fresh n tasty food specially pani puri so fresh, I had been living this city late 8 months I tried pani puri different restaurants but today I ate best one so fresh served n Monu nice person served n all staff friendly n serving with cute smile

Don’t recommend for events in case if you have an option to go with other places. Got the food for our event at the last minute, not so impressed lots of cons. Only pros were being closer and accepting to prepare with a short notice.

Paid $100 for rose milk which we had to completely trash, goat was not well cooked.

This place will have a run until another indian place opens up in the area. Hope it will be soon.

We were excited about having Chowrastha in the neighborhood. We've been there three times and the check out cashier on the grocery store side always has an attitude and nasty looks. It seems that it's because we aren't Indian. She will have what seems like a very friendly conversation with the people around us who are not white. The food is also very pricey and isn't very good.

Very pleased to have this store here in the neighborhood. Produce is of good quality and excellent prices. This would be a 5 star review however, every time i have tried to pay with cash the cashier always says they have no change. Again tonight i had the same experience however the three gentlemen before me all paid cash and all received their coin change. Suddenly as soon as I get to the register they have no coins? What store doesn’t provide adequate change for the til?

I recently dined at this restaurant. The experience was exceptional. The food was delicious, offering a wide variety of flavorful dishes. The atmosphere was good, and the staff was attentive and friendly.

Had Best food recent times around denton and argyle must try vijayawada boneless and goat biryani the service was also decent.
