Chris Madrid's, San Antonio TX

Absolutely love it. Even when the line is out the door they are fast and prompt. Always my go to place for a good burger. The portions are ridiculously huge. I always share a burger with my mother and a order of nachos. Plenty of food. Bathrooms are always nice and clean. And I love that they expanded the outdoor area. Keep up the good work and the great hospitality

Wow. These burgers are bananas. We met up here on a quick visit for the "best burger" in town because this was a favorite from 30+ years ago and I'm glad to see that some things are still just as good as I remembered even though I can't recognize San Antonio anymore.

We ate there today on 7/6/21. Their hamburgers and other selections are delectable! Employees are friendly and helpful!

The wait was about 30 minutes to order at the time I went (5pm Saturday), but the food was worth it. It was better than I remembered! And the melted cheese - don't even get me started! Really appreciated that Covid measures were still being taken and there was plenty of seating outside and doors were opened to allow the breeze inside.

Jalapeño and Tex-Amex Burger were delicious. However, you have to purchase the French fries and drink separately since they don’t come together. Other than that-friendly staff, nice outdoor decor and hot food. 4/5

Overall a nice lunch experience. It was already somewhat busy but we got lucky, at 12: 30pm-ish on a Wednesday, and there was no line - but by the time we got our food the line was surprisingly heckin' long! I got their cheddar burger (I can't remember the exact burger name but it had the word "cheddar" in it, Lol) it was a little TO MUCH cheddar for me, Lol. But hey, more/too much is always better than not enough! I think I'll get something else next time, though, lol. All-in-all, very a chill spot. You order at the counter and then sit down with an electronic "buzzer", until your food is ready. I expected to have to go get the food when the "buzzer" went off, but a waitress brought it to us instead, so I'm not sure the purpose of the little electronic device, as it never buzzed or lit up with blinking lights, Lol
5 star service and taste - Will definitely return, & would definitely recommend, as one of the better burger joints in San Antonio, that I've tried!

The food was delicious and very tender and juicy. The shake omg was amazing. It hot the spot. The only it was a bit to chilly in the restaurant. But overall great place to go.

The burgers are HUGE! Thankfully they taste good too. Their tostada burger is the best. A gentleman in line who has been going here since 1985 even said so.

Ordered lunch for pick up today and the food was awesome as always.
We ordered the cheesesteak with fries and the crab cake which was quite generous with the crab.
I'm so glad to see they are still thriving despite COVID. Dependable neighborhood spot, highly recommend.

Visited first time since they opened back up.as always food was delicious however the employees came by several times asking if we were finished dining. On the last time to my table the girl says.are you done people are waiting outside and it's cold.not very cool.probably won't visit anytime soon

I had the Tostada Burger add bacon and fries. The large fries are big enough for two. The burger was engulfed in cheese and was delicious.
The restaurant had plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and the tables were practically socially distanced.

Well worth the 11 minutes off course to stop by and insult my arteries.

Still the best! Social distancing, all staff masked and helpful, and amazing food! What's even better? Really decent prices!

Wonderful. I bought the macho cheddar cheezy and it was absolutely delicious. 1/2 pound smashed patties made with good beef and absolutely piled with lots of cheese, I will definitely return here next time I go to San Antonio. It was so good, I bought a t-shirt from them.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Big burgers and portions. Unfortunately, there was not much taste to the food so we had to add seasoning to burgers and fries. I know some ppl like to add seasoning for themselves, but personally I prefer items come out already tasty. I don't like heavily seasoned food, yet this was still too light for me. So food wise, 3 stars. I gave 1 more star for nice service and atmosphere. Might return to give them another try.

Never experienced a place where to wait for my food for so long it took almost an hour and a 1/2 for me to get my food this place is not good Song for them to remodel the whole building they sure did a crapy job as doing restoration in the kitchen for a bake place when lata tables such a small kitchen to put out food good luck I just don't understand you have a big parking lot in a small kitchen

Same Great food with added updated seating outdoors and new indoor seating behind outdoor seating. Really enjoyed visiting.

If you're in the mood for a burger, and a really good one at that, Chris Madrid's is no doubt one the best places to go if you're in San Antonio. You'll find a good selection of burgers, and they also have nachos, chalupas, and a friendly kid's menu. Sit outside and enjoy the great atmosphere while you eat. I would highly recommend Chris Madrid's to family, friend's, and even strangers.

It was super busy, I feel since the restaurant was remodeled, they need more seating. It gets very crowded, long lines om Saturday. Been there once, burgers are good.

Been awhile since I've eaten here. First time for the kids. Great food, friendly atmosphere, just like I remember. Kids loved it too.
