Christian Joy Center, El Paso TX

Went a few times if your not African American u can't really get a good talk in with there bishop security will push u away made me feel so uncomfortable dude pushed me away then stared me down idk what the deal was but it's whatever outside of that the service is great and the bishop is a good person:)

We went to see Dr. Rodney Howard Brown, and man was it fire. The Joy Center did an excellent job on coordinating this event. From the parking, to creating 2 lines for those individuals who use canes, walkers, wheelchairs. The Holy Ghost was in this place. We had a group of 10 that traveled from Las Cruces, and we were all able to sit all together in same aisle. What an amazing night.

I went here to see a revival but i felt like i was on a jail and couldn't get out. They were only interested in my money. They made sure of that. Only good about this place is when they praise. If u are not a member u cannot sit close to them, they will not let you. Very strict you have to turn off your phones. Felt like a prisoner. I just wanted out: (So upset was not what i expected. It is true though God is not found in a building, it is about a relationship.

Awesome life changing word of God through the Awesome Bishop Mikel Brown. If you're ever in El Paso, TX, please go by The Christian Joy Center. I PROMISE YOU. Once the word of God goes forth and you apply it to your life, you'll never be the same. God bless and keep you is my prayer.

Looks like a nice place, does not donate to other non profits organization that help in the recovery of drug addictions.

I came here to see Jonathan Shuttlesworth, thinking ok, I'll come in, sit down, watch the service, and go home. The people at Joy Center had other ideas. They were so welcoming and talked to me like I knew them for years. The worship was top-notch. If you stand there and at least not wiggle a toe, then you need prayer. Security was fantastic, and the ushers were helpful. Holy Spirit flowed, so go check it out.

After years of being members here my wife finally decided to leave this church where there was much hate, racism, discrimination and favoritism, they crack jokes about white ppl but say it's all fun, if you're not black then you're not one of them preferred ones and they are only interested in your money, we were told don't come if you don't have anything to give, this is the only church in El Paso where they want money for the pastor's bday, wife's bday, money for appreciation day, Christmas money and if you're a member you're expected to sow $5000 to the pastor, so many have left and sure glad we did

My family and I really enjoyed ourselves today. We are not members, but it felt like home. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms

It was challenging finding a place to worship. I googled one day when running errands and my heart led me here. I visited. For 11 months and placed membership. Great church, loving people. Amazing pastor, services on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. I love it love it. Looking for a place to call home this is it. Always something new to learn and grow in Christ. I highly recommend this church to anyone.
