Looking for a great seafood restaurant? Christie’s is the one. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, time after time. It is no surprise that this restaurant has stayed in business for 105 years. Wishing them many more years of success in this business.

Went for my birthday, the first time I have been there. Not disappointed, I have been to sea food restaurants up and down both coasts and Europe and this place rates as one of the best.

Exquiset! Quaint! Delectable! A Real Old School Seafood Restaurant! Atmosphere, Linnens, Service and Coctails! Forget the Chains and go to this Original!

Went for lunch and it was delicious. It was just as good as the location they had on Bellaire years ago. Will be going back. Our waitress Jeannie was great.

Old school, classic, iconic Houston, delicious and complete menu of Gulf Coast delights and don’t forget the steaks! Snapper Greek style is the best in town and so is the shrimp. Sides are nice esp. Greek green beans. Service is always top notch! A well deserved 5.

I was wanting shrimp creole but their version has nutmeg in it. I wish I had been warned. My aunt got fried shrimp and I wish I had got that!

My wife and daughter took me here for dinner. I got the stuffed flounder with lump crab meat and it was by far the best I've ever had and that's no BS Plus the waitress was very nice and professional. We will be returning soon.

If you love seafood, and are tired of red lobster, come here.
I swung by looking for a shrimp poboy, and I wasn't disappointed. Great atmosphere, incredibly professional staff. It was a tremendous experience all around.

This restaurant has exceeded our expectations. Each and every dish we had tasted so good. The staff warmly welcome us into the restaurant.

Me and my mom ate lunch here today August 4th Deenie was our server and gave us the best service! She was very friendly and professional. My mom use to work here back in the 70's I remember the big crab out on top of the roof! Christie's still has the best seafood in Houston! Ask for Deenie if you want the best service

I took myself out to dinner last night.the crawfish bisque and Caesar Salad was fine.but the shrimp lemon cream made me instantly and insanely sick all night. I'm barely able to get up for work today.still not feeling good.

The stuffed shrimp was Delicious.
Salads were fresh Rainbow trout was good.

Green beans tasted like canned beans.
French fries were a little on the soggy side

We, party of two visited here for the second time on Tuesday 8/2/2022 around 7 pm. Even though the restaurant closes at 8 pm, we still received superior customer service. The staff were welcoming. We were sat immediately and we were not rushed to order or finish our meals.

Our server Deani was great! The food was good, seemed fresh, was a good portion size and was delivered fast. We had the 5 oz salmon prepared medium well. Mine was blackened. My cousins was “ginger soy style”. We also had the au gratin potatoes which are one of my favorite things on the menu, and green beans. The food doesn’t have a lot of seasoning, but adding salt and pepper to mine did the job.

I had a frozen mango margarita which was good.
The dinner salad that came with the meal was nothing special but I liked the chipotle ranch dressing. They also serve dinner rolls with the meal. The food is reasonably priced.

The atmosphere was quiet. The decor was nautical. I would return.

We had a great dinner at Christie’s and our waitress’s recommendation of the fried shrimp and salmon royale were really good. Highly recommend getting the fried shrimp on the side of your entree.

Christie's is a family tradition. I've been eating here, since I was in my mother's womb.:) 40+ years later, nothing has changed. Great service, great food and a lifetime of memories. Today, I ate here with my brother, and we reminisced on the good times. Christie's fried shrimp and remoulade sauce are the BEST ever! Our mother swears they will be in heaven. Until that time comes, we'll keep coming back for more.
