My 19 daughter was in town visiting her boyfriend at Texas state. In the middle of the night, she woke up to excruciating pain in stomache and all of a sudden her whole body felt inflamed. They rush to this hospital emergency room and from the very moment she entered, they took the very best care of her! All the staff and nurses were very caring and prompt with testing, Cat/Ct scan and all that was needed. They found out it was either a cyst or tumor that was ruptured on her left ovary. Dr Hamilton was the the specialist Obgyn surgeon and he was absolutely AMAZING! Very thorough and experienced Dr. You can imagine how frantic I was as her mother driving 3 hrs to get to her but all the while I wasn’t I felt like she was in great hands! Thank you staff and THANK YOU DR HAMILTON! Alexis felt 100% better right after the surgery!

Needs ZERO stars! Worse Nightmare ever!
Dr. Brian lied about my condition, stating no injuries. So my records are not even valid whatsoever. When I had my CT scan plus my x-rays on my hand that proved I was injured. Broken hand not to mention other abdominal injuries, and L1 and L2 compression fractures. Dr. Brian z.asked about the lower back from the CT scan results. He said he saw it was injured. I told him that I had scoliosis growing up and a back injury over 20 years ago. I never said my previous back injuries were L1 and L2 because they were not associated with previous back issues at all. So he assumed it was old injuries and falsley stated on my report that I had no injuries In my opinion this guy's license should be removed from him.
I had to go here for a car wreck. I will post a picture of my car after commenting. The CT scan man was an older black man, only saying this due to not catching his name. He was treating me like I was a serious burden to him and let me know by a hard transfer from bed to CT scan table, which was so painful. Then proceeded to quickly shove saline at my IV site.absolutely too fast and he had no compassion whatsoever. The RN named Angela S.falsified my documents as well stating that she drew blood and never took one drop. She was quick to grab my insurance card though. So now I have another person's blood work as part of my records. What a terrible place to go. Putting your life at risk here, I'm shocked I came out alive from this location.for REAL! Stay Away!

So wow I had to go look up what is wrong with me on the Internet, cause they kept telling me nothing is coming back bad. I knew I wasn't well and something is seriously going on, especially what is happening, they should have noticed on any of the tests they took on me. That's not cool, that means they are all about the money.it's a hospital for Christ's sake

Today. I have to post this.
I have had a procedure set for weeks.this is something been trying to get done for 9 months.

I have spoken numerous times to associates. 2 or 3 said bring gluten free bread. A few days ago I even called to ask if I could bring gluten free waffles.

Here is my problem.

You wait till 2 days before my procedure to begin calling me to tell me to BRING gluten free pasta before the actual day or you will move my appointment.the one I have been trying for for months.

I understand having a special format for allergies.

This would not be an issue if
A) I have extreme mobility issues which inhibit me from being able to drive all the time. Getting someone to take me an issue of itself
B) I have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis which is beyond just "fatigue" where I can sleep upwards of 22 hours when my health takes a turn
C) because of B I am limited to no more than 2 appointment in a week because I get home and hibernate.

So. I am sleeping and unable to just drop and go.

I actually had things over the last few weeks had this been addressed BEFORE 2 days/day before this would not have been an issue.

Please understand those with chronic illnesses may need more time and implement this into procedures. The fact I had been told by at least 3 associates gluten free bread and bring day of.and NEVER actually provided digital or physical instructions. (Memory is a HUGE issue for me) is another issue.

I am so grateful for people in the medical field but please understand there is so much you don't see when you have the person in front of you.

There needs to be a "procedure" change and update for those handling chronic illness/extreme allergies.

I just drove an hour and a half to get it to you today and am exhausted but have to come tomorrow. I wish you knew even a fraction of what this caused me. But I do not wish my issues on anyone.

2 days is not sufficient. Please do this at time of scheduling.

PS Jenny was amazing!

We brought my father in for a swollen leg which can be a life threatening side effect from the filter placed in his artery to prevent clots from killing him. First of all, the ER "doctor, " is not a doctor. He's a PA. There wasn't a doctor there and the fact he calls himself the doctor is misleading. The leg swelling was one issue and then his severe pain from cancer was another. They wouldn't give him pain meds because they "couldn't verify he actually has cancer" even though we showed them his MDAnderson information and had a call with his oncologist. They didn't give him an IV until my sister suggested it. Then they said they think just a muscle relaxer would fix his leg pain! The nurse was rude and kept rolling her eyes. He died 2 weeks later.on March 10.

Now my other complaint is my sister's FIL just was there and he has trouble swallowing from multiple surgeries from throat cancer. It had gotten to the point he was choking and aspirating so he came in here (why, I don't know!). He had been living in his trailer with no AC for a while so he was definitely dehydrated.again, they never offered saline until my sister asked them to. He can't take his meds because of swallowing and they were like, oh well. Then my sister again asked them to put the medicine in his IV and they said, oh good idea as if she was the freaking doctor. Gave him 2 CT scans which doesn't make sense. Finally he was transferred out of there, probably saved his live.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL, ESPECIALLY THE ER!

Its the system that is broke. $9000 4hour er visit and wasn't even treated for hematoma on leg. Not even some aspirin. The system is insurance companies giving hospitals money to pay for the billion dollars of equipment to save your life. We are now keeping them alive and thares a parasite system for you. Mobious "while they are in the system they are the enemy, they will fight to keep it alive"

This hospital stinks. Actually it’s worse than that. Drs don’t communicate and really a waste of time to even be admitted. The nurses were good, the cardiologist seemed ok. But Dr. Wu is horrible and cares nothing for patients. This hospital is tiny. Go elsewhere.

Wonderful experience for my adult child's septoplasty with Dr. Blair. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and jovial. I'm very appreciative of everyone we worked with. Thank you all.

I feel badly for those who had a bad experience but my experience could not have been any better! The scheduling staff was outstanding, as well as everyone involved in the check-in process. The nurses went out of their way to make sure all my needs were met and my questions were answered, and took great care of me. And of course my doctor Dr. Marek was top notch as well.

If I could give more stars I would. I had an accident and it required surgery which was my first time to ever have surgery. Every staff member I came in contact with made the entire process understandable and answered every question. They were very consistent on checking up on me to see how I was feeling and made sure I wasn’t in pain. I don’t have insurance as I was supposed to start my new job this Monday but due to the injury it will be delayed. They made it stress free and took care of me as if I had insurance. I don’t think my whole experience could have gotten any better. I wanna give a big shout out to a few of my nurses Alisha from the emergency room, Michelle was my night nurse, and Maricela was my day shift nurse. Y’all went above and beyond for me and for that I am grateful for. And last but not least my ortho doctor Dr. T. Doering, not all heroes wear capes! Good Bless!

I’d give ZERO STARS is I could. Absolutely terrible women’s clinic and ER I’m in my first trimester and I had requested for my ultrasound to be pushed ahead because I’ve been having blood pressure issues and they tried sending me into my primary care doctor instead of trying to care for me. Everyone in that office honestly made me feel like they couldn’t care less about actually trying to help anybody. When I called my primary care and ask them what I should do about my blood pressure. I WAS TOLD BY MY PCP THAT I JUST NEED TO FIND A NEW OB BEACUSE OF HOW CARELESS THIS CHRISTUS CLINIC IS. They told me that my OB should be the people that are primarily concerned about mine and my baby’s health because it’s not in a traditional clinics scope of practice to take care of pregnant women because of their sensitivity to medication and this christus women’s clinic and their doctors did not care whatsoever and just tried to push me off on somebody else. Don’t waste your time or energy here. GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN SAN MARCOS, KYLE, NEW BRAUNFELS, OR AUSTIN. All they’re gonna do here is waste your time and try and give you a run around.

My daughter got diagnosed with with 2 Desmoid tumors 2 weeks ago. Passed out twice in their er room but still had to wait 2 hrs before being seen. Went to their referred oncologist and was scheduled 3 weeks out for colonoscopy for possible colon cancer Flash forward 2 1/2 weeks later and my daughter goes into seizures/whole body spasms. Gets admitted for this very reason. 12 hours later she goes in for an mri where the technician was rude. She has a seizure/tick and the specialist doesn’t report it 2 hrs later the nurse comes in sees my daughter in a seizure/tick and doesn’t say anything or report it The whole reason we are here and they totally disregard it with no calls to a dr or anything.

Horrible experience. Went after a rave and the nurse or who ever was on the ER was so rude. Went in for a dislocated knee and the girl was so rude and dismissive. Felt so uncomfortable we left. Ended up she shattered her knee cap. After the girl said “nothing looked wrong”. Would rather drive an hour than go here. Worst ER.

Terrible waiting time. I came in at 7: 30PM for chest pain and I am still waiting and it’s 10: 04PM. They told me that my problems were not severe enough and kept calling everyone that came after me.

I went to see a 85yr old lady whom I got to know at Activity Center. On March 31 I went to visit. She was gone. I asked the nurse what happen she said I DON'T know you. There was at least 10 ways to say that without being rude

This place is the worse hospital I've ever been to. Waited 40+ minutes for no doctor to come see my daughter who had a gash open on her head. If I would have known that the hospital was like that I would have taken her somewhere else.
