Chuck Heinrich Memorial Park reviews
18This is a beautiful place for a picnic, time in the sun, short walk, enjoyment of a beautiful neighborhood, etc. It is quiet and relaxing other than the sun burning you I see a lot of potential in the evening.
Best park in El Paso with great views of the Franklin Mountains. Nice trails to hike and bike.
This is a great park to take the family and dog. It's also a great start point for the plethora of Mountain Biking and Hiking trails on the East side of Franklin Mountain. There is plenty of parking on regular days, the lot fills up on weekends in the morning, but there is parking along the street. There is also a pay station for the State Park and some porta potties if you have to go.
Such a positive vibe as it's one of the starting points for access to Franklin state park walking and mountain biking trails.
Nice outdoor trails for a duly hike into the mountains, be nice for mountain biking as well.
Nice park but very little parking, careful when you get there cyclists everywhere that don’t respect cars and people very rude.
Small but practical park. Only has two jumbo Porta Johns (that I saw, could be more). Overall a decent park to walk your dogs and take the children to the jungle gym/playground. Needs a little more trees toward the center of the park but then again that would mean less room for play. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
I love the Park and path. I love the available porta-potties.but I usually come here to use the trails through the Franklin mountain state park. They have some lovely desert trails
Entrance to the Tin Mine trails, great hike/bike route with several options off to either side.
Love this park in what appears to be a nice, safe area. Lots of room and great trail to hike.
Lots of trail systems to try out from beginners to advanced riders. Both for hikers and mountain bikers.
Lovely park to walk your dogs, go biking, and go for a stroll. Disappointing though that a lot of people don't pick up their dog feces, especially when the park provides doggy bags at several places along the pathway. Just goes to show how lazy people are!
It's a wonderful place to hike, fly a kite, play kick ball and baseball/softball. The park is very ample with lots of room. There isn't much shade and recommend taking a canopy.
I absolutely love this park. You can do short hikes or really long hikes, whatever you feel like there is such a mix of trails that you always have flexibility.
Nice park with east side entrance to Franklin mountains state park. Plenty of bike trials are accessible from here.
Awesome, scenic trails. A must for hikers. Don't miss the Tin Mine Trail, not too difficult for doggos.
Beautiful park, nestled in the backdrop of the Franklin mountains, it's a must go for everyone but especially for those with kids and or pets.
Only place out here that you can go and get it when you need to get it. If you get it then you know what Im talking about. #mtb
