Church's Texas Chicken, San Antonio TX

I ordered the number 1 and the chicken was hot.crunchy and juicy. The biskit was soft and buttery.the mash potatoes and gravy were awesome.

This food was horrible, no taste of seasonings of no sort on the chicken nor fries. Even the cole slaw was horrible. Ridiculous waste of food.

Was n drive thru 25mins b4 order was taken.but it's dinnertime.long waits are to b expected

Rude evening staff, ESPECIALLY toward white people. I never thought I would ever say something like that until it's been proven to me. Our order was also wrong AGAIN and the drinks were only filled half way.

These people give Church’s a bad name.
They cooking chicken without sifting the flower. And chicken had a burnt taste. - stars

I was running Ubers with my daughter had picked up 2 orders both of them were made fresh after they gave me the wrong order. Had ordered my daughter some biscuits & fries and the biscuits were fresh and on point. Just disorganized

2nd time at this location, first time service was fair and tonight it was horrible. The night manager name is Linda does not know how anything about customer service. They did not have white meat and expected to pay full price for dark meat only.

Just left there. As am checking my food because they always forget stuff. Told me to and I quote "get out the freaking drive thru"

Certainly not as good as it used to be chicken isn't hot or crunchy asked for bold and spicy got regular

As always fails to have white meat. Didn't get fresh fries - became cold and hard by the time we got home - 8 blocks.

The chicken tasted terrible it had no flavor or seasoning and the flour/ batter was not sticking to the chicken

The food is hot and great. Although the service was not. The cashier did not greet me, she walked to the back and discussed.a situation, Then she walked to the front and looked at me and said nothing so i placed my order, Never did she say a word.the receipt says Rudy C but it was a color female with glasses. OH WELL good job to the yound man rocking the rush frying away, good jod Buddy he was working. Three stars for food and the young man

Chicken and okra was burnt they don't take the time to see their product or if it's done correctly go to a different churches I recommend

Took us 45 minutes just to get our food in drive thru, then when we get to the window they didn’t even have our order we had to reorder, then by the time we got the food the okra tasted like it been sitting for awhile, the chicken was ok, and the tender strips also tasted like they had been sitting for a while, the macaroni was cold, I think the only thing that really was worth eating was the bombers, but we were to tired to go back. Oh and they didn’t even have there lights on to the outside we thought at first it was closed and it was only 8: 50 p.m, I mean really I was to disappointed to even eat after I tasted the okra on the way home. My family was the ones telling me how the food tasted.

My Mother Church was have a going away ceremony for one of the church deacon that passed away. And She placed a large order for the Church two days ahead of time for it to be ready for pickup after ceremony services. The day of pick up I went to go pick up the order. Nobody knew what I was talking about could not find the order that should have been left by the Floor Manager at the time that took the order. So The Assistant Manager and Window person called the Manager too asked where the order was and she got mad at the Assistant Manager and it was her fault I was at Awww anyway I had to wait for and hour for my order to be prepared I got it and left so with all that said they have Very poor management are a bad floor manager do not communicate with her staff nor leave notes where they can find them. And if you place a large order you better double check to make sure it get done.

They try to sell you old food. Even when you ask for fresh chicken. I asked why they cook so much chicken and stick it in the warmer? The manager who was very rude told me that they can keep chicken in the warmer for an hour. So i ask do you throw away five pans of chicken if no one comes in within that hour? She didn't want to answer that. Beware of this place! You could get sick or worse. I watched one of the workers drop the French fries scooper on the flood and she just pick it up and used it without washing it. Then another work took chicken from a previous order out the box and put it back with the rest of the chicken to be served to another customer. And when I confronted the young lady she told me that's how they do things. We pay for a certain standard.

Had an issue with original doordash driver but the lady named Linda I think she said she was an RPM? Was super helpful with talking to doordash and making sure I got my order. Great customer service!

Very nice. The most important thung is kindness. If food is good but no manner and bad attitude, never ever visit again. Thank you guys, you guys are very nice.
