Church's Texas Chicken, Waco TX

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We went on a Thursday night 5-6 and the front door was locked and the employees were in there yelling at each other. We went to the drive thru and sat there for 10 minutes before anyone came on the speaker to take our order. Placed our order for 2 meals all white & an order of spicy tenders, an additional mashed potato, an order of jalapenos and an order of biscuits. The guy gave us the total of almost $42 (which I didn't hear because I was in the passenger seat) and after he charged our credit card, he proceeded to tell us the drink machine didn't work and they were out of white chicken. Why on EARTH were we charged for white meals and drinks if they knew he weren't going to be getting this? I then asked for a receipt to see why the total was so high and was told the machine was broke. REALLY?

Still taking online orders after they close and then rude to customers when they show up. Closed at 8: 30pm sep 19. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Never again! Drove 8 miles for online order. Don't trust. Rude!

I found hair and a dead fly in the food and it took 20 minutes for a spicy three piece when there was no prior orders.

Always great on the drive thru speaker. Very clear and understandable. They don't rush me and the order is always right, hot and fresh.

Oh my gosh they messed up my order but the lady at the window was so nice it didn't even matter

They could have suggested a family meal instead of me buying the individual number meals making me spend more money for a lesser amount of food.

The customer service was on point. My food was hot n fresh. This is the best church's chicken to go to in the waco area if you are wanting some hot and fresh chicken from church's.

Young lady was very helpful.service was excellent.number 1 & 2 she suggested Apple and corn on cob so we got 2 of each total $$$$$ 28.20. And all well worth it.ty I will be back

Great experience at this location. It takes a while to get out your order, but overall the service was good.

I haven’t been to this place in years and was in the area and decided to drop in and I’m glad I did. I ordered the fish sandwich combo and man it was so good it was made fresh on a honey butter brioche bun. The workers were so friendly and the service was on point.

The only reason I even put 1 star is because you have to put something. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a food place! I ordered through GrubHub (my first time using them) & I ordered a 10 piece tender meal with 2 sides (fries & okra), & biscuits & gravy, then I added 2 corn on the cob, a regular coleslaw, 2 jalapenos, & 3 dipping sauces. When my order got here the coleslaw was open & the tenders were covered in the liquid & there was a pool of liquid on top of the box. The biscuits were missing, there was no gravy or dipping sauce, the okra was extremely overcooked & there was only 1 corn. I called to let them know immediately & she pretty much called me a liar & said she packed it herself & everything was in there. I pulled everything out & explained what was missing & what was wrong. She told me to come up to the store & she'd replace the 1 corn on the cob I paid almost $40 for mayonnaise soaked tenders, spilled coleslaw, 2 jalapenos, 1 corn on the cob, a small fry, & a small overcooked okra! Idk what's going on but I'll never order from there again or use GrubHub! It was a total waste of time & money & I'll be going to a supervisor or manager tomorrow!

This place need to be shut down been calling corp on them I order two boxes of chicken got home chicken taste like it was fried and burnt old grease fries was so burnt up call manger she didn’t even do anything or say she was going to talk to the cook or nothing she don’t care nor do the workers I want advise nobody to come to this location my next step is to called the health inspector because something needs to be done smh

The lady was having trouble getting orders out. Someone called in or it was just 1 fryer working but she brought out my online order and was just so sweet to me. 19th street Churchs in waco is the Best
