Church's Texas Chicken reviews
15Decided to give them another chance, What a joke. It's pouring rain, and the dining room is closed at 5pm. An employee walking up said drive thru only. So I guess it's KFC. Keep shooting for the lowest common denominator Church's Not sure if I'll bother to try again, The chicken is amazing as usual. It seems Church"s is a race to the bottom with Popeye's as far as facilities go. This location is in the middle as far as cleanliness and upkeep is concerned. I understand margins are slim and getting slimmer, but appearance and cleanliness are important. Unless there is no other choice, I do not patronize Popeye's due to poor maintenance, cleanliness and employees who appear to hate their jobs. Church's isn't far behind, but at least the employees seem to have some kind of pride still. Overall this location is a 3 out of 5. Needs to close and be cleaned from top to bottom.
My new favorite Chicken place! Food is tasty, staff is friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is awesome!
For Church's Texas Chicken, 10658 Monroe Rd, Houston, TX 77075:
Where to begin? My recent visit to this Church's location was, to say the least, an absolute letdown. I thought I'd treat myself to a simple 4-piece chicken meal, expecting the usual crispy, delicious chicken Church's is known for. But oh, how mistaken I was. First, they handed over chicken that was clearly overcooked, and upon checking in my car, it was also ice cold. I've had mishaps with fast food before, but this was another level.
Now, here's the kicker: I assumed they would rectify the situation when I returned the chicken. But instead, they merely placed the already-touched, returned chicken back under the warming lights, presumably for another customer. The audacity! This isn't just about a sub-par meal, it's a blatant disregard for food safety and basic customer service principles.
In a world where we value cleanliness and customer satisfaction, such actions are just shocking. One would think a renowned chain like Church's would maintain certain standards. But if this location is anything to go by, think twice before you decide to dine here. They need a serious overhaul in both their kitchen practices and customer service. If they're this careless with visible issues, it really makes you wonder about the things you can't see.
AMAZINGLY Great food and Service, and having the order filled with the quickness, was icing on the cake.
How are you a chicken spot and have NO CHICKEN? ! That doesn’t even make sense. Plus you can’t even go inside
I’m guessing the old man there is the manager idk. But i went in to let him know I didn’t get the side I had asked for. So he was charging me and I asked him why if the guy who took my drive thru order didn’t put it correctly. He then proceeds to speak in a high tone almost screaming “HE IS A HUMAN AND MAKES MISTAKES” and ends up leaving. The guy who helped me was nice and all. But I feel like that old man doesn’t know how to treat his customers nice. He should definitely work on that.
The other two young guys were nice and I had no problem with them even if the one who took my order messed up.
I never got in, Their hours say they are open till 9 pm, I get there at 8: 30 and the door is closed with a sign saying drive through only. I go through the drive through and the guy tells me they don't have chicken. Said he could fry some chicken nuggets if I wanted him to. This is a common practice of Popeyes and now Church's doing the same thing. Easy to see why a lot of Churches in the area have went out of business. Good product but customer service is zero which means a matter of time they will be out of business also
Great chicken at lunch time. Some of the staff are nice others need more experience in attending.
False advertising on internet.
Say a cheaper price on internet. I showed the theme the prices on my phone under there name, and they still wouldn't honor it.l had to make theme acknowledge that I was standing there.customer service is terrible. No one spoke no one. All of these bad reviews, and this place is still a loud to serve the public. This let you know the times we are living in now. It's all about money, not about humans well-being. That shows us that people that's taking care of our State don't care nothing about us
This location is a pitiful waste of space and mediocre food. The staff is rude and act as if they don’t want to be bothered.
They NEVER have white meat (even right after opening). They refuse to fry white meat.
I’ll be reaching out to corporate to find out what could be done.even if it is independently owned, the location still carries the chains name.
Today is Saturday April 15 9: 13 pm. I came to the drive thru and the lady at the speaker says they are closed. She did not want to give me a reason why because website says they stay open til 10 om.
Either there is never chicken or they are close. Workers don't even bother to acknowledge you. It is burly 9 and they have closed, they should fix there hours of operation.
Took too long to get my food. The tenders were awful. The cup was covered with strawberry drink, and she was going to give it to me w/o wiping it out. I had to tell her to please clean the cup. Never again.
This location is horrible! I love me some Church’s Chicken but after visiting this location I don’t think I would ever eat church’s again. The lady (Ally) if that’s her real name, proclaiming to be the manager/ general manager definitely is a poor representation of the company. The company definitely needs to reevaluate their employees. I tried reaching out to the headquarters and was given a non working #. I’m guessing this place is individually owned by the way they provide service / treat the customers. But as for the service I was given this makes Church’s as a whole look real bad. This location needs to be shut down. They have the wrong people working there and if I would have read the reviews before coming in I would have saved myself the trip.
My third visit did not get respectable pieces of chicken made a comment about it when I came back the 4th time and she took care of me
