Tex-Mex Restaurant Chuy's reviews
22We went to Chuy’s in cedar park and SARA waited on us. She was so nice and on point with everything. I had ordered the taco salad and it’s not what i thought it was and as soon as she saw I wasn’t happy she switched it out for me without even a hesitation… then got it to me pretty quickly… she was just great and the managers were nice too… this place is overall a wonderful, family oriented place to go… I highly recommend CHUY’S! Way to go SARA, we will definitely be back!
Great food and great drinks. We got Tori as a server today and she is top notch! Thanks for the awesome service
We called in advance because we had our 2 dogs with us and wanted to make sure dogs were allowed on the patio. We've been to the other Chuys around Austin, and they were welcomed. While on the phone, I distinctly asked if dogs were allowed on the patio, and I was told yes, so we joined the waitlist. After driving out of our way and waiting 30+ minutes, we checked in. Upon checking in I was asked if they were service dogs. I said no, because they aren't, and was only then told they would not be allowed because pets were not allowed.
We tried this place out on a whim. Plus it was close to where we were shopping. The prices of the food we bought was the average price you would pay anywhere. The place was busy too. We just didn't like how the food tastes. To me, it had a really weird taste. I'm not sure if was me or the food but it was moldy tasting to me. I just couldn't eat it. And I wasn't about to order anything else. The green sauce they put on everything is what turned everything bad tasting to me.
Slow slow slow service. They were packed but people that sat after us were already done with their food when we were just getting ours. The time it took to have our margaritas made was super long as well, and we were seated in the bar! The food was just ok as far as flavor goes. Probably would not visit again.
By far the best Tex-Mex. Do yourself a favor and ask for tomatillo and creamy jalapeno to go with your chips as soon as you sit down. Trust me you will NOT be disappointed. I love this place!
The food is always good. Ordered 2 martinis and both times asked for extra olives and both times I was completely ignored and blown off both times I asked a second time! Floors were disgusting and almost fell twice because of slipping on grease in different areas of the restaurant.
Chuys has been my go-to for Tex-Mex since my college days 15 years ago. I could (and still do) always rely on the Barton Springs and 183 locations for great food and friendly, fast service. Those two locations run like well oiled machines. However, such is not the case at the Cedar Park location. While the food was what I expected, service was severely lacking. Waiters seemed confused over which tables were theirs and hurried because they had too many tables to cover. Pair poor service with a slow kitchen and your quick afternoon lunch just took the whole day. Get it together guys, it should not take 2 hours to eat at a Chuys.
Always amazing. Put boom boom sauce on anything and you'll love it if you like spicy. The new Mexican matinee is also great! Layne was our server tonight and she provided some of the best service we have seen in a long time. Thank you for making our stressful day so much better!
Is Chuy's was in Texas going to have to try the one in Colorado see if it was as good the fajitas were incredible
Double check your offer before leaving. When she came back after processing credit card we pointed out that everything was not in the bag. Her comment”yea they wouldn’t fit in the bag”. Sooooooo, if we hadn’t checked?
Consistently delicious - we like to order "The Elvis". Food and service are always great at this Cedar Park, TX location. Thanks!
Always good Tex Mex. I love their jalepeno ranch salsa dip is is fantastic! Their portions are also enormous so you get a good meal and maybe some for later.
Great Foof, great service and a wonderful easy to park location - had been to the others which were crowded but this had a lot more space and the Stuffed chicken Avocado was awesome!
I really like Chuy's. It's good consistent Tex Mex. I've noticed a lot of locals try to pretend they don't care for it. I think it has gotten too popular for the cool kids, but deep down inside they crave it. It's good food you micro brew loving hipster. Just admit it.
The food is dependably good and service is typically quick once seated. The free nacho bar during Happy Hour is our favorite part because the kids get something to eat with a longer wait.
Love Chuy's! An Austin local favorite. Their jalepeno ranch sauce with tortilla chips is to die for!
Slammed at lunch time! Really fast and friendly service. So clean and i love u can see how the tortillas are made
Great food. Reserved for party of 23 said 45 minutes to then wait another 20. Not a good time had hungry tired kids. At least be truthful if you can't accommodate us. Will think twice before bringing large party.
This is a recently opened Chuy's location. Pleasant staff. Good food. Unique ambiance. Reasonably priced. I will return.
