This company is a rip off!
Cirro Energy, you guys almost messed up my credit but God just hope you don't do anyone else the way you did me. You guys had me pay 3000 for literally 2 months of service. #INSANE #NEVER #AGAIN. Don't let this company do you like they did me #WARNING

I am done with this company. Turn away if you are considering cirro energy.

Bait and Switch. They offered me an amazing deal for 12 months. The 12 full months are coming to an end and they have nothing but terrible deals to offer me. Outrageously high plans! I was hoping to stay with this company long term but I won't be staying after the 12 month plan is up. It's been good but I'm on to something better.

After Cirro responded to this review I immediately emailed them with my concern. It's been a month and no response.

Terrible company. Try repeatedly to pay online because let's face it, who has time to sit on hold waiting for someone to come to the phone and take payment? We sure don't. Pay online still has not been set up even though it's been requested multiple times. We've been given all kinds of excuses and we're tired of it. Fix your online payment system already! Just asked for the date my contract renews. The person on chat says they cannot take a payment and cannot give me details of my contract. You can bet when it's up for renewal, Cirro will NOT be getting a renewal from me. Their lack of customer service coupled with their high rates is just a ripoff for businesses and consumers alike! If I could give ZERO STARS I would.

As with most electric companies it started out great. Bills were $120-$150 for a small 1600 sq ft house with average 1500kwh per month. My pricing in the beginning was about 7-9cents per kWh. Finishing my contract 2 years later my pricing is 14-16cents per kWh and I didn’t even change my plan. By the end of year 2 with this company the average was $220-$250 with absolutely no change in usage. If I could go back I would have listened to my gut and switched providers at the end of the 1 year. They have decent customer service but don’t keep your contract going after your one year is up. I did find another company for this year that will give me 8cents per kWh so hopefully I can balance out the difference in extortionate rates I’ve gotten the past year.

Cirro has never let us down. Even when electricity rates soared with some other providers, Cirro did not price gouge.

Very satisfied with the chat service. It was fast and I didn't have to listen to elevator music for an hour while on hold!

I paid my bill late last month and paid the past due amount. Because I didn’t pay this months bill at the same time, they shut off my power when this months payment was due yesterday. If you are 1 day late they send you a shut off notice and charge you $10 for the notification plus 5% of the bill. I think they take so long processing payments so they can send out these notices.

Good for first year. They start to make money from second or third year and suddenly you see your bill crossing $ 300. They will bill you $ 90 to $ 100 for first year and then they make money so try to sign the contract for one year and then move with somebody else. It's not worth. They are somewhat better than others so atleast that's the good thing but they seriously need to take care of clients instead of running behing profit.

Business takes a long time to get reputed and they need to take care of clients because world of mouth is more imporatant. Profit will come to you automatically if you simply follow the ethics but everybody wants to become jeff bezos over night which is not possible.

This company is full of horse manure/sshh. From the beginning of my agreement there has been nothing but negligent representatives and outrageous charges and fees added to my account. I would attempt to clarify my issue and suggest a remedy, but due to an error On Their End, I was always stuck with the ever increasing bill. Thank the Higher Power at be that my contract has expired. This company is trash and everyone should know.

I started calling 3 weeks before disconnect date and told them I would make half payment one week and the other half like 2 days before cut off. I paid just like I said. I even called on Thursday before and told them I was paying it on Saturday through my bank. They said ok no problem. Tuesday morning they cut my power off. I call gave them the transaction number that my bank said happened on Monday. They said we can’t see it, call your bank. Pay it and we will turn your power on. Borrowed money, paid it. THEN AT 4 pm I look on my Cirro app and both payments posted Tuesday. They still charged me disconnect fee, and said well the good news is now you have a credit on your account. When my contract runs out in a few months I will take my business else where.

Cirro Energy is a cheat company. I signed up with them, the first bill was over charge with fees in it. They did not even explain what it was for. Customer Service is horrible, you ask for a manager and they will tell you no one is available. Bunch of liars. I guess the company teaches them to lie. They dont send you bills and will disconnect your service if you dont pay them. Then they will charge you fees to connect you back. Pathetic looser company. Govt should look into all these utility companies as they are just middle men companies trying to profit by providing zero service and making money from businesses and ordinary people. I would give them zero stars.

This company has guts to come back and write and tell the customer to call them back. Unbelievable. Look at the reviews people have for CIRRO.one of the worst. Stay away from this company. Do not sign with them at all. These are all crooks.

Got the standard Cirro response.what if they spent as much time on customer service for existing customers as they did responding to bad reviews. We’ve been Cirro customers for the past 7 years. They had a competitive rate, good customer service, and were consistent in pricing and billing…no surprises.
We recently received a 55% rate hike out of the blue. I do understand energy costs have risen and inflation but let’s not pretend it’s been that much.
Being in Texas you get to choose. We looked up several competitors and asked if Cirro would adjust their price hike (not to the lowest number we could find but against an average price).
Not a shred of empathy on the now non-existent customer service side. It seems she was more ready to cancel and disconnect a customer than service a pausing one? !?
It’s disappointing; a company in the energy business that was different and now that culture has changed.
It’s just unfortunate. And no I don’t plan on calling an 800 number or go to your website. Made the move and will at least save some money this year.
