City Tortilla Factory reviews
12Drove from Rockport to Ingleside because I’d heard this restaurant has good food. I walked in tried to ask questions to the man at the front about the menu. Right from the start the guy was rude. Walked right out. What a waste of a trip.
The "Full Meal Deal" breakfast taco is a craving that my wife and I can not ignore! On mine, I like to substitute Barbacoa instead of bacon.
Even when there's a long line, the service is fast and friendly. If you're in a pinch for time you can call your order in.
Order breakfast regularly for the crews and staff at work from here, always great food, still hot when I pre-order and pick up, it's a favorite amongst the staff.
Love this place so much. Was introduced to it about 2001 and have loved it ever sense. I drove 25 minutes out of the way today to grab these for a meeting while I’m in town. They’re that good and I don’t make it down here very much any more.
The full meal deal is my favorite.
Great tortillas - love their potatoe & egg & carne guisada. Always friendly & fast service. Oh & love their enchilada plates.
Very tasty food, the barbecue, uffff first class, very friendly service, looking forward to returning again, I recommend it, excellent place.
When picking up Tacos to go this place should be perfect. The barbacoa - they didn't hold on the manteca, very geasy, the tripas - I get why ppl say they don't eat tripas it's because of places like this that don't clean the tripas and leave it like trash and grit, the picodillo - was just ground beef and small chunks of potato thrown on top, no tomato sauce it was very dry and not mixed together, the red salsa was watery. I use to love this place. Now I'm just disappointed that they have cut back on quality, I don't mind the price but you aren't getting what you're paying for. The coffee was very good.
Well it would had been nice to put on this sight that y'all would be closed on fathers day that's along drive from holiday Beach grrrrrrrr.but other than that this place has been apart of my life love it keep doin what y'all do and godbless everyone that works there
I was in a mood for a taco and saw the city tortilla factory, a place I hadn't been to in decades. I was filled with nostalgia as I went in looked around. Ordering took a few minutes because the cashier decided to have a snack but after that service was fast. The tacos were delicious and made sad: why didn't I buy more?
Y daughter had a breakfast taquito of huevito con papas with flour tortilla, very big (had a good amount of filling). I had a Tejano dinner plate that had rice, refried beans, some guisado and Tex-mex enchiladas and a lot of aguacate yummy. Guisado was delicious, rice and beans were good the enchiladas are the reason it's not a 5 star for me, they're Tex-mex, I don't care for them. I wish they would explain or show a picture of the enchiladas so people can be aware. Other than that, food and tortillas were delicious, cheap prices. Will be back whenever I'm in town.
A to-go counter serve taco stand. You walk in and order. Then go to the next room and wait for them to call your order is ready. The tacos were good. Nothing spectacular. The sauces where the same.
Good value food. I didn't see any tables to dine in at. Take your food and leave.
Barbacoa was surprisingly lean and not swimming in fat and juices.
