The current land lord is not honest and she does mislead you. Land lords can really make or break a place and Lee Ann you’re lame. I truly do not recommend living here because of Lee Ann’s poor business practice.
A land lord who doesn’t follow the lease and lies about what she is actually expecting is poor business practice. Lee Ann Haglin, I hope you write up an honest lease and stick to it. You clearly lied to us and broke our lease.

My advice for anyone moving in. Take pictures/ videos of every single inch. Keep record of every single repair. Take pictures/ videos of everything once you move out. Repaint and patch holes yourself.

She emailed us instructions not to cover any pin holes or repaint she insisted doing it herself, and she confirmed over the phone.
I recommend you go ahead and repaint because she ended up charging us to repaint for following the instructions YOU sent, Lee Ann. We already had paint and putty to do it our self for 7 dollars and she ended up charging us even more for it. It’s poor practice to lie to residents, Lee Ann.

She claimed we didn’t clean after we wiped down every inch. I recommend putting in minimal cleaning effort because clearly it didn’t matter, she’ll charge you anyway.

She charged for changing a fan cord? I’m pretty sure it was the living room cord. We did not use it throughout our lease. There was nothing wrong with it but anything to take a little bit more money. We sent her images showing proof too.

Finally she charged us for a special cleaning process to remove pet hair from the vents she claims is standard practice. This would have been fine if it was in lease because she was behaving as if it was expected. That’s the point of a non-refundable deposit, which we paid. She still took money from our refundable deposit for this expense.

This really upset us and when we challenged her she was threatening to make us pay more and implied she was going to nit-pick the rest of the place and that we should be great full she doesn’t. (Which didn’t matter because we took care of the place, but she’s clearly showing she is willing to take advantage already.)
She won’t address all these issues because she knows she’s wrong. Good luck and be careful people. We returned the unit better than we got and have pictures to show it.

We have had the best experience with Lee Ann at Claridge. I cannot say enough good about her and the staff. She is caring and professional with consistent follow-through. We appreciate her honesty, and the quality of the apartment. Thank you!
