Beautiful handmade terracotta bullnose tiles. Our 6x12" tiles all measured 5.5x11.5" with the expected minor variations from one to another. I recommend acquiring samples of the actual tile shape, not just a color sample, so you know what to expect. Our tiles sawed cleanly w/o shattering as encountered with some handmade tiles.

My wife and I have been doing our own home renovations for a couple years and searched long and hard for the perfect tile. We were thrilled when we came across the thin glazed brick from Clay Imports and loved their Blue Lagoon tile. We initially had just planned to use it for our walk in shower wall but ended up loving it so much we also chose to do our entire kitchen backsplash with the same tile. The thin glazed brick is wonderfully imperfect and varied in a way that gives our walls delightfully vibrant character. We couldn't be happier!

We ordered the matte star and cross terracotta tile. After only 1 month of it being installed it's already badly stained and discoloring. Even a water drop will stain it. It was sealed a few times after install and it still looks splotchy and bad. We are having to replace the entire floor now spending a few thousand. Won't ever purchase tile from Clay Imports again.

We couldn't be more pleased with the outstanding service and top-notch materials provided by Clay Imports. Our experience working with Leah was so great - she was incredibly helpful every step of the way. We had a few questions before making our purchase, and Leah responded promptly and clearly, giving us total confidence in our decision. Not only did we receive our tiles earlier than expected, but they are also gorgeous. The final result of our bathroom surpassed all of our expectations. We were blown away by our experience that Clay Imports will be our go-to choice for sourcing handmade tiles when we remodel our next home.

I really wanted to reccomend using this company, but there has been way too much attitude by young & incompetent customer service agents. Their sample selections are not always in stock, and their web site is generally not updated and not reliable. They have offered us poor clarity on technical tile information and their lead times are disappointingly inaccurate (with poor communication on updates), but you probably won't understand until you're too far into the process with them. While the tile is attractive, I'm not sure it's worth dealing with these folks. The jury is still out, as we are waiting on the second part of our order to come in but the experience has been a bit like sticking needles in your eye. On the plus side, a recent visit showed a markedly improved attitude by customer service (perhaps because of a rash of negative 1 star reviews). We look forward to updating this review upon a positive completion of all transactions.

Follow up, tiles came in broken and different sizes, the store did not deal with these problems.

After using Leah the Salesperson communications began improving, however Leah threatened me with extra storage fees unless I took delivery according to her schedual.

Clay Imports does an amazing job from beginning to end. The help we had designing our tiles for each space was fantastic. The tiles turned out beautiful and add modern, yet rustic architectural details to our home, both inside and out. We picked most of our tiles up and the team that helped to load it was as great as our designer, Anna. Thanks, Clay Imports, for making our home so special!

Fair pricing but poor sales and customer service when approached about finding a resolve for a batch of Saltillo with an excessive amount of lime pops.

The tile quality is excellent for amazing prices. I was so excited to support a small business that works with artisan craftspeople as well as get beautiful, sustainable tile for my new build house. Customer service was top notch, very quick to respond and adjusted my quote a dozen+ times as I made adjustments to tile types and amounts. Could not recommend a better tile place.

This place is a nightmare. I will definitely never buy tile from them again. The customer service is a joke, they could care less about any of our business. The tile itself is beautiful, but the lead times are ridiculous, longer than the website states (and the stated lead times are LONG) and by then you are stuck with them regardless of how long it delays your project. Avoid- there is plenty of lovely tile out there, no reason to subject yourself to Clay Imports, I certainly wish I hadn't.

We have used Clay Imports for several residential interior design projects, and we love their work! We have created customized tiles for many spaces, and the process is great. The options are endless, and you are guaranteed to find something perfect. The custom rendering process is very easy, and the team there is incredibly responsive and helpful with any customer service issue. We love working with another local Austin company on our client projects, and will continue to collaborate with them in the future!

Clay Imports never fails to stay unique and eye catching! I love all their tile and have some laid out in my house. Amazing people from customer service and their staff.
