I can’t recommend this place as well as I wish, which is strange to do with a place you hope to never see again.
It really does feel like they are trying to help you, make your life easier, and it is very genuine.one of the owners worked with me directly, probably should give him a consultant fee. Even went so far as to address concerns outside of business hours. He walked me through a lot of the process that really had nothing to do with him or what he gets paid for.

In response to Lisa Marquer's post - This company went over the top to be of assistance in Mr. Marquer's cremation and handled it professionally and to the highest of legal standards. Thank you, sir, for you invaluable assistance in a very trying time for his family.

My mother prearranged her funeral plans with Clayton Funeral & Cemetery Services several years back & she sadly passed away this week. I was skeptical that the funeral home would honor the contract she had with them, or if they'd try to add last minute additional fees. Mr. Clayton met with my family and took his time with us - not making us feel rushed. He honored my mom's contract as written and was so incredibly easy to work with. Planning the service with him brought me a great deal of comfort during such an emotional time. We actually ended up with a $30 credit when all was said and done. I asked Mr. Clayton to keep the credit - he wouldn't. I simply can't say enough positive things about this funeral home. If you're looking for a funeral home that is beautiful and does business in an old-fashioned, honest way - then I'd suggest heading over and talking with John Clayton.

The owners and staff of Clayton Funeral Home goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of for the families they serve. Great people and great service! I highly recommend them to anyone.

The owner name was John Clayton, and he was the best. Mr. Clayton took care of everything, and he did everything he said he was going to do. First of all, very very reasonable pricing, very courtesy, very professional, not only the owner, but all of his staff was awesome. I had the best service's for my mother, and I highly recommend Clayton Funeral Homes to everyone. Short story, from day one to finish, Very Professional. Thanks Mr Clayton.

All was well until we asked for military honors for for my dad. Clayton funeral home wanted to charging for it, and said it went to the honor guards tip for their services. We ultimately didn't go with them. When I spoke to the VA cemetery, they stated they are NOT allowed to accept monetary tips for the services, as they are EARNED by the veteran.

Although people may express themselves in a way that may be offensive to others, their thoughts may be entirely the opposite. I can say that Mr. Clayton will go out of his way to make sure that the customer has great explanation of whatever the situation may be and the customer is happy with the outcome.

I have always wanted to deal with family owned businesses. I never thought I would deal with a funeral arrangement. This was a difficult decision and I was not disappointed. Mr. John Clayton and the whole staff were very professional and respectful. From the day I talked to him and 2 months after I have to request for certain documents, he was always available and answered all of my questions. I will never forget what he had told me the last time I spoke to him on the phone, "Whatever makes you happy, I will do it. " I can count the smiles after I lost my husband and this was one day I did. Thank you for making it easier for me and my sons. All of you are amazing.

My family and I had a great experience with Clayton Funeral Homes. They came recommended to us because of a need to transfer my father's remains out of state. John and his son made things very easy during our difficult time. They were very prompt to pick up my father after he passed and I was really pleased with how well Dad looked at his viewing.

This man, Mr. Clayton, fraudulently allowed my fathers sister to claim next of kin, falsified documents to the medical examiner, and had his body cremated. When confronted, he screamed and yelled at me and lied about “who” was responsible for the authorization. He claimed the medical examiner was responsible. HORRIBLE. DISHONEST.
