I took my car to get service for bubbles in the tent, got the car back with my rim scraped up. The service advisor tried to say my rim was damaged before I brought the car in. The service advisor "Micah" tried to show a image off the surveillance camera of my rim, but it was the wrong rim. Not only they scraped my rim they left a pack of cigarettes in my car. They never reset the oil and filter, nor replaced the oil change sticker. They left the foot mat and plastic in the car. I had to search for my keys to drive off after I was told the keys were in the car. I went to a different nissan dealership and showed them this is how I get my car back. That dealership said, "That's wrong and isn't the way it's done. " THE SERVICE COURTESY DRIVER "MICHAEL" INFORMED ME THAT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT DOESN'T RESPECT CUSTOMERS WHO USE THERE VEHICLES FOR (UBER, LYFT). MICHAEL INFORMED ME WHILE WAITING IN LOBBY TO "NEVER SAY YOU DRIVE FOR UBER. " COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER I PICKED UP MICHAEL BECAUSE HE USES UBER FOR RIDES, I QUESTIONED HIM CONCERNING "HOW CLEAR LAKE NISSAN TREAT CUSTOMERS WHO USE THERE VEHICLES TO MAKE EXTRA INCOME BY UBERING? " MICHAEL REPLIED, "THERE NOT GOING TO RESPECT YOU, BECAUSE YOU PUT ALOT OF MILES ON THE CAR AND WARE AND TARE. " Only ware and tare Is from the service department, damaged rims, engine cover was missing, trash left in my car.

My car was damaged while in their shop. I've attempted contact for an entire year with no response. I have no choice except to sue you. I've given you ample enough time to satisfy the damage to the hood of my car & repair it >>Mr. Benoit!

Everyone needs to know and I was told by the salesman: EVERY CAR LISTED ON THE WEBSITE, ADD $5000 TO THE PRICE AND THAT IS WHAT YOU WILL PAY. (And it's not including title, registration, ect and it's not a special package as the car I purchased was used and has no warranty, it's just added on for the sake of being added on) I told them I didn't want whatever extra was tacked on and they stated I can't opt out of it, and it just is what it is. They said any dealership I went to would add on this random $5000 charge, so I felt I couldn't walk away and just have to pay it elsewhere. So I was forced to pay $5000 more than what was listed for my car. And now I see that other people had the same issue with the $5000 thing. DO NOT BE LIKE ME and walk away from it instead! Seems as if they would state that online or just add $5000 to the price automatically, but I digress. Someone with less money or on a tight budget might benefit from this information. I feel kind of scammed out of $5000, but I needed a car before my family went out of town. Honestly, I wish I wasn't in such a rush to buy a car and had time to go over things more. I feel buyers remorse over price now and it's not even 8 hours later. Please don't be like me. Ask questions, call other dealers, ask to see all information before signing ANYTHING. I JUST DONT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO BE FORCED TO PAY THIS EXTRA $5000 and hopefully they lose more than $5000 after people see this review and pick another car dealer. I do like my car, but it's not worth the $5000 extra "for no reason" fee.
I also was shown 3 different payment amounts, but was told they all were the same interest rate, because they will not list the interest rate on anything before signing "documents" and then they say financing will go over that information later. Then would only show me the interest rate for one of the payments even when I asked to know what the others were.
*Update: they asked me to email them, and I did, but no response. I'm guessing they just send this response to everyone and that's the end of that. As you can see, they just copy and paste the same 3 responses to each person.
*Update: Over a week later and they still didn't respond to email they list on reviews. Car battery died completely and was corroded two days after purchase, when auto zone removed the battery corrosion was all on the side and under the battery. So I had to pay even more. Got an update from the credit bureau and they run your credit MULTIPLE TIMES, all hard hits so you have multiple drops and listings from clear lake Nissan. Which I also asked about and was lied to about.
Update: still no word from the email listed that I contacted posted to this review. So it's confirmed they just do that to make others think they will respond. Took my car to a mechanic and it needs new tires. So they said the battery was good and it wasn't and said tires were good and they weren't. So they just say things are okay to sell cars and you will be stuck paying for all the things they claim are okay. Beware.

I went in here to buy a Nissan Rogue but I wasn't quite creditworthy yet. My old Nissan Altima which was 16 and 1/2 years old was at that point where it needed a lot of work and I didn't see the point and putting a lot of money into it plus I was kind of scared to drive it. So I was a little worried about what I was going to do but my salesman went bit back to the finance people and they got me a Sentra. I was a slight bit upset at first because it was "less than" The Rogue I wanted and the Altima 2.5 SL I had for so long. But I was treated very well and respectfully and I had a great salesman. My car was fresh off the truck so I couldn't pick it up to the next night. He helped me unload my old car which was full of stuff and there was stuff I didn't want anymore and he said just leave what you don't want and they throw it away which was a blessing for me. I will definitely buy my next car from Clear Lake Nissan. Everyone was super nice and I got a great car.

I called and spoke to Ernesto about my window being replaced due to burglary, on a Wed. Window was ordered and told could take up to 7 days. My husband called and checked the status and was told it would be in Tuesday. We drop my car off Monday night so they can have it when the window arrived. We are told Monday the glass won't be there now until Wednesday. No big deal, at this point what's one more day. I call Wednesday afternoon and I'm told my car won't be ready until Thursday. Ernesto calls and tells my husband that my car will be ready by lunch time. I work nights so I see he tried to call me before calling my husband and have a missed call. I call him back on my way home and he now tells me my car will not be ready until close of business bc there is so much glass in the door. Mind you they have had my vehicle since Monday night and knew they were replacing the glass due to it being broken (auto burglary). So, at 7am they are saying it's not going to be ready until 6pm! At this time of day there is traffic, traffic, and more traffic. We are on the way there and Ernesto calls to make sure Weare coming bc they are closing at 6pm. I have waited and been at his mercy all week. This kind of service is not acceptable! Oh, and miraculously I didn't get a survey in my email like I normally do when I use them for service.

The service is fast and respectable. I was able to have my car taken care for even after the purchase. The clerk at the rent service was kind and quick to help find a car if you have to leave yours. Overall excellent

Michael our service representative was able to take care of all of our services need on both of our vehicles on this visit.
