Clients First did a fantastic job of transforming my front yard from a community eyesore to a bright spot with envious curb appeal. Jack Easby of Clients First combined his vast expertise in landscape design with the few ideas I was seeking and transformed my home landscape into something spectacular. Jack really knows his stuff, is a great listener, extremely polite, and was able to work in meaningful changes in order to accommodate my budget. I'd recommend Clients First Landscape Solutions to anyone seeking to improve their landscaping to deliver quality service and superb results!

We worked with Jonathan Moore who was very professional. He listened to our needs and came up with the perfect landscape design. We feel like we are living in a new house. We can’t wait until the spring when everything gets completed and plants begin to bloom. It was a pleasure working with him.

I would not recommend this company, nor would I ever use them again. Our project was for an outdoor covered arbor and landscaping. It started badly, never recovered, and seemed to get worse as the projects progressed.
On the arbor, they didn’t start when they promised, didn’t finish when they agreed, and kept requesting progress payments when none were warranted as very little progress was being made and not required by the contract. They did not fulfill contractual obligations of a gas firebox, installed a cheaper electric insert instead without consent, a model of which the manufacturer doesn’t recommend for outdoor use, and still expected full payment for the gas model in the contract. Subcontractors were constantly showing up unscheduled, unannounced, and unsupervised, on weekends sometimes, not knowing exactly they were supposed to be doing forcing me to “manage” the project personally. (Overall, we are generally pleased with the result, except for the firebox.)
The landscaping was even more frustrating. Again, no adequate supervision led to multiple corrections having to be made, and it is still wrong. They don’t even honor their inadequate 6-month plant warranty in their contracts. The choices they made for the walks were ill-advised, and the bed preparation was sub-standard at best. We really dislike the result, especially considering the cost incurred.
The entire process was an awful, arduous expensive endeavor that we regret undertaking with Clients First.

Addendum to owner's comments: There is no fire hazard to installing a ventless gas fireplace insert in wood framed outdoor wall. These inserts are installed in dry wall inside houses all the time, especially in bathrooms.with no fire hazard. And your "solution" to this "risk" was to install an electric one not recommended for outdoor use? You also state your framer and electrician recommended the electric fireplace insert. Who did they recommend it to? Certainly not to me, they just installed it and hoped I wouldn't notice. There was no recommendation or discussion with me at all in advance or afterward. The only reason you installed this was motivated by profit. Your sales rep kept whining about how you weren't going to make any money on this construction, and electric inserts are much less expensive than gas ones that the plans and contract clearly called for. You ran a gas line to fireplace, the plans from the outset called for a wooden wall and gas fireplace insert, that never changed. Why did you just "discover" this potential fire hazard at the end or construction and never discuss it with me? The "discount" we "agreed to" was $1500 on the $3000 in the contract. And I'd still rather have a gas fireplace, an electric one with provide no warmth whatsoever.

Your sales rep did come out and replace one plant when the final check was delivered. Unfortunately, there were several plants that he agreed needed to be replaced under the warranty at this time. I was told the nursery you get your plants from were out of the ones needed and it was implied that they would be replaced later. To this date, they have not been replaced, violating your flimsy warranty.

We were very pleased with the work that Clients First did in our front flower bed. Jack Easby was our consultant and, boy does he have great ideas! He was so helpful to us in telling us how to care for our new plants and even our lawn. Very professional young man who seems to know a lot about his subject. We would recommend Jack and Clients First again to anyone! 5 stars!

I used this company for about a year on a commercial portfolio. They were always hard to get a hold of and I had to stay on top of them to service the properties. I had to constantly send them pictures of overgrown grass, not trimmed weeds, missed entire rows of bushes. When we stopped service, I had to pay a new company clean up fees as this company was not properly servicing properties and they were not performing the services outlined in their contract. I would not use them and not recommend them for a commercial portfolio. They may be fine with residential / landscaping project type work but for standard service agreements, I would steer clear.

I hired Clients First to do an extensive front yard landscaping project on my home after a very bad project mgmt and installation with another very well known landscaping and outdoor design company who does work in the Dallas area. I have to say that Clients First was SUCH a positive experience.

Jonathan was my lead contact. His professionalism, creativity, and knowledge earned my trust in our very first meeting. Jonathan created 3D renderings of my home and yard, using it to build me a high quality mock-up inclusive of not only my front yard, but his recommendations on a future backyard patio/kitchen I want to build. His estimate was detailed, clear, with prices that were competitive. It was an easy decision to go with CF for the work.

When I mentioned, in passing, that my pregnant wife was due in a matter of weeks, he accelerated my project to be installed within 48 hours of signing my contract. I found it incredibly kind. The crew doing the installation were highly professional and competent. The finished project is beautiful.

When it's time to do other projects at my house, I'm definitely giving these guys + Jonathan a call. They saved my yard!

I used this company for a complete overhaul of my front landscaping. When the work was completed, I voiced my skepticism about the size and quality of the plants and their placement but was reassured that it would be fine. They were basically twigs that they planted that were supposed to be my base landscaping. They completely washed away with a couple of good rains. Nearly everything was gone. I called them, they came out and quoted me another 12k to get new plantings in. I have sent multiple emails to them with no answer. I have since hired a reputable company and they have done an outstanding job. CF is a horrible company that doesn’t stand behind their work. I am surprised they are still open for business.

The business reply is an outright lie. These plants didn’t die back, they are gone. The pictures speak for themselves. And as for as crediting me for the plants, there was zero credit. Of course, I wanted more, I got nothing. They have not emailed me back either so I’m not sure where they are getting these reviews from. Possibly friends, family and employees. I never write reviews but since I received no reply to emails, I decided to go another route.

Clients First has been great to work with. They manage several communities for me and they are always super responsive when we have irrigation needs. Thomas is always so quick to reply to me and meet on site. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them for commercial maintenance or any landscaping projects. Thanks guys!

I always research any company before aquire their services. Now the work I've seen is impressive. But there's more to a perfect picture. And company I hire MUST Be MORALLY STABLE. And during these trying times. Value of staff no matter what race is a major must. And this companies upper management is the most degradable races company I've come across. I advice anyone to look for someone who practices morals, values and respect. And don't support or fund racism. No matter how perfect then complete a job. And I am not claiming to be an employee. It's what I have personally witnessed. The usage of the n word. Wrongfully accusations of theft towards other staff members when having knowledge of the offender. And more.
