Had the best experience today! I came mid morning, short wait time and Brandon the phlebotomist I worked with was a gem helping calm my nerves and making the whole experience a breeze!

I have blood work done every 6 months and this place consistently provides the same experience every time- long waits and chaos. I’ve made appointments to help speed up the process but between appointments and walk ins, I don’t think they honor appointment times. The staff is friendly most of the time and the location is convenient and easily accessible.

Wonderful and very understanding staff. I suffer from a vertigo condition, and they are always very helpful and accommodating.

Had to give 20 vials of blood with no IV thread process. Jolt out and into vein on every tube insert and removal.

5 stars for one reason only, one of the nurses, I think her name is Kelly…
She’s so great. Funny, outgoing, and reassuring for those nervous about blood draws. She respected my wish to stop and nailed it when she did it.

Somehow I left feeling better than when I went it. Hang on to the good ones!

The girl at the front desk was not real nice, very short with me but the lady who took my blood was very nice. It was pretty busy while I was there but I got in and out pretty quickly.

Opening Hours updated to 7: 30.
The average people if you reach at 7: 25 am will be 8.
Time it takes inside depends on the number of resources inside. Sometimes they call you quickly but the average time per person ahead of you in the morning is 4 mins.

They are always crowded and it's usually chaotic in the waiting room because most people don't know they are supposed to sign in on the computer. Even though I always have an appointment they call me about 10 or 15 minutes after my appointment time. I just wish cpl would have a more effective system of getting customers in and out faster.

Worst service ever.
The 2 people in the front desk are very rude, they don't answer questions. And the service is very slow.

I wish the chairs would be replaced with a material that can be cleaned easily, they are disgusting. The bathroom could have been cleaner.

I knew this place did not have the best ratings, but I had been here a handful of times, and thought it is not the type of place I am visiting for great service. I just need them to pull up an order from the doctor and then have blood drawn. We have had a couple of visits where the blood draw did not go smoothly, but it was not too worrisome. This last visit was too much, though. (After a visit with the doctor, we needed multiple labs taken in order to eliminate different possible diagnoses. Worried about the expense of a ton of labs, we spoke with the doctor about navigating all of the tests and cost and priorities of the tests. The doctor said we could/should look into the costs of the labs and said to give the codes to CPL so my family could decide how we wanted to spread them out over time if necessary.) I called CPL ahead of time. I gave the codes. I was quoted a price. It was much better than I was anticipating. So, we went in to get all the labs done. The order was pulled up and I was told the price was going to be more than 5 times what I was quoted on the phone. Confused, I told the woman helping me that I had called ahead to get the price. And then, a woman helping a customer on the other side of the window decided she needed to help and shouted to everyone in the waiting area that “This is why we don’t quote prices over the phone. ” (Thanks, Karen, but someone already did.) So, I said that it was okay, let’s just look at the prices of the individual labs and we could spread out the labs over time. The woman helping me said they could only do all the labs placed on the order and that if I wanted to change any of the labs that I would need to get a new order sent over from the doctor removing some of the more expensive labs. Then the helpful Karen employee who shared her unsolicited opinion also informed me that I should get the labs done at the doctors office instead of coming to CPL and that it would be a lot cheaper there. (Thanks, Karen, I would have done that if it was an option.) So we left and called the doctor to get a new order sent over. The doctor’s office was upset. I was told that a patient can refuse any lab at any time, and a new order should not be needed, but that they would send me new orders and separate every single lab into it’s own order, so we could space them out as we would like.
Not wanting to deal with the staff at this location again, we went to a different CPL location prepared to navigate the mess of orders and labs. The other location pulled up the original order, clicked “patient declines” on the orders we didn’t want to get and ran the labs without any issue and/or need for the extra work the doctor put in. I will never return to the Whitestone location and I hope others do not have to go through the stress and worry we faced.

I’m a frequent flier. Always happy with the service. It’s a busy location. Plan your expectations accordingly. I often try to go at non-peak times.

I find that the front office can be rather.not polite. The check in process is annoying. You sign in, then they call you to the desk, then you wait. And this is with appointment. It is done to be convenient for them and not for yiu.

That says, the phlebotomists inside are among the best. They never seem to have a hard time finding my veins. I have yet to be poked multiple times or poked through.

Great location for me, staff have always been kind and professional. Sometimes there is a wait. But not bad. Have been coming to this location for many years and am very satisfied with their care.

No one likes to wait, and if you don't have an appointment that's exactly what you'll be doing. I highly suggest appointments, but even with that you will be waiting. The office seems a bit understaffed, The current staff are very friendly.
Once you get back in the chair it's quick you'll be in and out. They're always busy first thing in the morning so make sure you have an appointment.

I went in for Natera testing, I had all the paperwork and they didn't ask me 1 question. I overheard a phlebotomist asking questions about the Natera paperwork and they were confused. Fast forward to a few weeks later, they had canceled one of my tests "per the client" but I never filled out any paperwork. The Doctor called the next day to have it resent and the employee said it was resent through and will be tested. Again, not done and the test was never run. HUGE waste of my time and no one was helpful. I do not trust this lab with any lab work unfortunately.

I had such a bad experience for my 8 month old son. The man who tried to take a blood test from my son looks inexperienced. He could immediately say that he has no experience in this, and not experiment on my child. But he pricked my son's hand with a needle until we told him STOP.

Very friendly, competent staff. It's easy to make an appointment ahead of time, although if they are busy there might be a short wait. Waiting area is always clean.
