These guys are polite, professional, knowledgable. They fix things right, and the costs are reasonable.

First time I went in with my Mazda Miata, the air conditioning was blowing hot air. They gave me quote that was $500 less than dealer and had it fixed in one afternoon. Working great. Then I called and asked about state inspection, and they said first come first served so I took it in that afternoon, and it was out in about 20 minutes. Great service, fast, and good quality. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Five stars!

You won't find a better auto repair experience out there. Clutch is the most honest, responsive, and high-quality repair shop in Houston. I loved it as Cornerstone and when they changed the name to Clutch it's even better. This team always takes care of me and my vehicle.

I have been coming to Cornerstone to have any repairs done on my vehicle since I started driving in 2008. Always have been polite, attentive, and most importantly honest. I was sad to see Mark leave but happy to still have Lionel there. Over the past year the new owner Austin has maintained the same integrity I am accustomed to and carrying the same values into his new brand Clutch Automotive!

Matthew, Lionel and the whole crew at Cornerstone Auto were amazing to work with! I have recently moved to Houston and immediately started to experience issues with my truck. I was recommended Cornerstone based on their service and they definitely lived up to the recommendation! My experience with the shop, from the very beginning, was shaped by their communication and transparency. I loved the digital vehicle inspection they offered, the regular updates via text, and the ability to pay for the service via text as well. My truck threw us all a curveball and I had to return to the shop for an unforeseen issue, but Conerstone handled the situation professionally with integrity and absolute transparency.

They are quick, professional, polite, and honest. They won't be the cheapest you will find, but their prices are competitive and their results are consistently good. Highly recommended!

Just wanted to thank this location for all the work and help they do on both my cars that I bring them. Austin at the front desk is extremely friendly and helpful and always on point with their time estimates to get the vehicles done. About 3 years ago, a co-worker referred me to Cornerstone on Dairy-Ashford when my car's A/C was failing. He said many people in his neighborhood used them and were thrilled with them. He said they were honest. I gave them a shot and I'm SO happy I did. My A/C was repaired at a fair price and it has worked flawlessly since then.

September, 2020. I found that there was a new owner and was kinda scared that Mark no longer owned Cornerstone. Would the honesty and quality of work be upheld by the new owner? My car is 10 years old with 100,000 miles on it and needed a bit of maintenance work done as well as an inspection so I could get my annual sticker. I didn't have the ability to drop it off/nor pick it up and asked it they would consider doing this for me. The answer was Yes! What a relief. They made all the repairs, were courteous, prices were fair and I've had no issues since then. BTW, they are superb when it comes to communication/answering questions. Always ask, they will answer. They will also send pictures of issues they find!

I know this is a long review, but they deserve it and so does everyone who really treasures good people that can be counted on. Good auto mechanic shops are hard to find and I'm so happy I found this one!

My car wouldn’t start that morning so I had to call a tow truck. He was able to get my car started so I was able to drive it to the auto shop. I was scared that it would stall and honestly this was the closest place. Several car places I had used in the past would try to get you to spend unnecessary money on parts and labor so I assumed I’d get the same treatment here. I was completely wrong, the service provided here was amazing. They checked out my car and kept me updated throughout the entire process. It was just my battery so they replaced it and got me on my way. I will continue to go back for maintenance and any other problems that may come. Thanks guys for making my nerve racking morning pleasant and comfortable.

I dropped in my car for a trunk lock actuator motor replacement and they had it ready in less than an hour. They said the part comes with 2 year warranty which is very relieving for the money $$$ spent. Very friendly customer service (Especially Michael). Will visit again. Highly recommended.

My family and I have been using this cornerstone for over 15 years with no problems! I understand there has been an ownership change and we have not been as happy as we were in the past with recent transactions. I don’t want to speak too soon but currently took my vehicle in and have to take it back as it’s still leaking. I hope I don’t have to find another mechanic
