Cobb Real Estate, Crystal Beach TX

I find it very interesting that Cobb never responds to their reviews online, especially the poor ones. Sad way to do business.

I’m only giving them one star because when my sister wrote a review after our stay they chose not to post it on their site. I noticed most of the reviews were old ones. We liked the house but it was in need of some major repairs. We pointed this out and they shrugged it off. We wish we could’ve contacted the owners as Cobb isn’t very knowledgeable about this property. They only post good reviews on their site so beware.

We rented from Cobbs this summer. It was the worst experience ever. The dryer, or air conditioner either one worked. We called several times in the week stay. They women we spoke to was so rude. I have never been treated this way before.we usually rent from Swedes but thought we would try cobbs this time. Our MISTAKE. NEVER again

Everything I expected and more! They were very prompt to answer questions as needed and really easy to work with. We stayed at "23 Yards to the Sea" and should we choose to vacation in Crystal Beach, TX, we will definitely use Cobb Real Estate again! Thank you!

We went thru Cobb Real Estate for our weekly vacation rental. The beds were hard. Good distance from the beach. View was beautiful!

Helpful in answering questions and facilitating business in regard to rentals. Lots of inventory and pricing options. This company’s longevity and experience in the business help in getting questions answered and rentals completed.

I have rented three times from Cobb Real Estate in Crystal Beach. The first two houses were amazing, so clean and so close to the beach. The third house.not so much (although it was huge and enough space for 30 people). However, Robin (the manager) fully owned up to it. She provided resolutions to us and was very helpful! I will definitely be renting again from them. Also keep in mind that their checkout time is way more convenient than other companies especially with big groups.

This company rocks. I have rented from them many and just did it again. Great customer service. The employee are the easiest to work with. Thank you Cobb Real Estate.

We will definitely be using Cobb Real Estate again. The staff was friendly and they provided everything we needed for our stay. The home was beautiful, clean and had a great view!

For beach house rentals or purchase around Crystal Beach/Galveston area they are the ones to see!

Let me start out by saying the lady who checked me in was super nice and friendly, now on to the bad. It takes 3 weeks to get a deposit back they can inspect and all, when we arrived the shower down below had old soap and men’s underwear in it. Thank God we brought our own toilet paper because only one bath had about 6 sheets of paper on it. What really made me mad is we were out all day on Thursday when we got back that night the door was unlocked, which I know I had locked it, we opened the door and Someone had left 2 bags (lime green for the next day which was Friday’s check in) here we are Thursday they just let themselves in our rental and then leave the door unlocked for anyone to walk and steal our stuff of the owners stuff! How unprofessional of them I did bring up to management but who cares right? So they want to hold my deposit to make sure we didn’t take anything but their employees let themselves in unannounced no warning the day before we check out and leave the door unlocked-I see an issue here folks! I won’t rent from Cobb again. Another thing we were told we had to bring own linens including sheets and such we did, that was incorrect they were there so we packed way more than we had too, they don’t communicate well. If the lady hadn’t been so pleasant at check in I’d have left zero stars!

Very nice experience. I had a bad experience with VRBO owners at Crystal Beach one time (and no fault of mine.) Go directly through Cobb for your vacation rental there!

Very good service and very helpful people. We just got back from renting a house from cobbs. The place we very dirty. Dog hair all over the place. Need to check on their cleaners or get new cleaners.

We booked the Family Ties house in Emerald Beach October 17-23. Everything was okay but visitors should book directly through Cobb Real Estate and not another booking agency. It is very close to the beach and had all the necessities except the internet never worked. I would highly recommend visitors make sure this is working after arriving and if not, get service to fix it. It shows you are connected on devices but it does not work!

We rented the Not too crabby beach house. There was no toilet paper or towels, we were not informed to bring our own so heads up. The garbage dispose kept backing up and the dish washer was holding water. The beds were NOT cleaned they were full of sand and had an awful smell to them. We payed way to much for these simple things to not be there or work properly.

I waited to write this review to make sure we got the deposit back. (we did)
We plan a girl’s trip every year in memory of our grandmother who is no longer with us. When we arrived to the house it was cute BUT there were problems.
• Fridge – When we arrived to the house there is instructions left for you to follow. It clearly stated the fridge is working but takes 24 hrs to adjust. So we packed it full of food and went to bed giving it time to work. When we work up all the food was warm. I called Cobb Real Estate to report the problem and loss of food. The lady that answered was very RUDE and laughed when I asked if they could replace the food. She than stated she would refund us for ice to but the food in the cooler. She did decide to send a tech to look at the issue. He stated the fridge is not working and he would get us a cooler and ice to keep our food in but NEVER returned. We lost over 200 dollars’ worth of food.

• Beds- King size bed was buckled in the middle and did not support us. Twin trundle bed was broken. And the queen bed did not have a real mattress on it. It was just a mattress topper on top of box springs.

• Dresser One of the dressers was broken and leaning on the wall. It was unsafe.

The biggest complaint is how RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL Cobb Real Estate was. Please don’t waste you money time with this company. I have also attached pictures a proof!

Well, we were there for a wedding and made a little vacation out of the trip.
We live by the gulf in Florida.
The location was okay.
The problem was there was very little silverware and pots and pans. Everything had to be wash throughly before use! The beach house was cute with the beach theme but it was not clean!
The couch was so stained that we sat on beach towels we had brought with us. Dust everywhere!
The dryer did NOT work so that made it difficult to do any wash!
All in all we survived. However we would NOT go back to this beach house again!
Note; the deck rail was totally UNSAFE! Miss slats and loose boards!

Easiest vacation rental ever. Cobb does it right. Super convenient and the property was perfect for our extended family. They will definitely be top on my list if we return to the this area.

Beautiful properties we stay with Cobb real estate at least twice a year has been a joy every time can't wait for our next trip
