Cobblestone Shoe Hospital reviews
10I brought my purse here with a broken snap because I saw the good reviews. They messed up my purse and refused to remedy the situation. I filled out forms requesting the owner to fix the situation and never heard anything back. So disappointed
Great experience. Great folks. Don’t call and yell at them if you leave your items here for over a year.
I brought a pair of leather boots and a designer purse to be repaired several years ago. They needed a different person give me a quote for the purse repair, so the boots were the only item to officially go on my ticket. My boots were repaired well, however, I have called/ shown up in person several times to ask about a quote for my purse repair, and then to request they just give me my purse back. I have never received it or any clear answer, just the run-around every single time. They have obviously lost or stolen by designer bag. I really should file a police report, but I am hoping this review will get the attention of a manager instead.
I highly recommend Cobblestone Shoe hospital. Steve and Rae are kind, patient and go above and beyond for their customers. They're also a fun team!
Took my brothers old boots there for repair. My brother had actually thrown them out. My mom thought they just needed a good boot polish. They replaced the heel caps and gave them a good boot shine. They did a fantastic job they look like a new pair of boots. I highly recommend this shop. Will definitely be back.
Please don't take your shoes here. I brought in a beloved pair of Clarks desert boots for repair. Once repaired, I've worn them less than a half-dozen times and the crepe sole which they replaced is already splitting from the sole. It's just unspeakably shoddy workmanship. When I called to inquire about a a warranty or repair, the store clerk was apathetic, defensive and rude. Shoe repair is expensive. You deserve to take your shoes someplace where they stand behind the integrity of their work.
We had umpire plate shoes for the Little League World series shined at this location, results was fantastic. Games being shown on TV, I know that Carl Anable will stand out as he stands begind the plate. (Junior league shown on ESPN plus and ESPN 2. Thank you so very much.
The bottom bits of my high heels fell off (I don't know what they're called ok, I'm not a shoe person). I brought them in here, showed them to the front desk lady who is awesome. I came back a week and some days later, and my heels are fixed! Amazing place with amazing people, I highly recommend this shoe repair shop.
My purse was not returned in the condition that I received it in!
I brought it to a professional repair shop to get the snap replaced because it was not working. As professionals, I expected them to unstitch the purse material and replace the snap. So it would not be shown on the outside of the purse which is the condition purse was in. Instead they put the snap through my entire bag, ruining my purse.
I have been trying to politely get my money back since April. The owner has not been helpful at all, I have called and gotten no response. This is ridiculous! I am extremely disappointed in the claims process. I just want my money back, I have already had to replace my bag, costing me even more money.
After they promised a 7-10 day turn around, a month later, they were finally ready! They admitted to losing them & shipping them from Dallas to Austin back to Fort Worth (the store I thought would do the repair in-house). The shop worker hung up on me when I called at week 3 to inquire! The rudeness, the unprofessionalism & the incompetence are the reasons why I'll never go back.
