Cochinita & co. reviews
15 Cochinita & Co.was a great recommendation from local Latinos. I had the cochinita pibil plate, came with tortillas. The food was tasty, full of flavor, very reasonably priced for the great quality.
We also ordered the shrimp tacos, absolutely great, the portion is large but it's so good it leaves you wanting more!
I had a hard time not ordering everything off the menu.
The decor is nice, music is good, and the natural light that comes in from the large windows makes this place shine.
If you like espresso I had a very nice shot pulled here by the coffee staff. All around you all have it going on.
For future customers: it's important to support businesses like this, young folks with good food and beautiful spaces. Your mom or abuelita will likely say, "yo lo puedo hacerlo mejor" but give her a day off and let her enjoy the experience and this Houston gem.
Oh and if you like chips, grab a bag to go! Hella bomb, ate them up on the flight home.
¡Buen provecho!
Waitstaff was very nice, just needs a little more training
Ice machine was out-no ice for the ice bucket
Definitely one of the BEST tacos places in Texas! If you like fresh ingredients and wholesome goodness, this place is a must try! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Always friendly and top tier food quality. Even if it's something I've never tried or care for the quality always shines through from drinks to food
Every bite I've had here has been absolutely fresh and flavorful - from the cochinita pibil tacos, to the pineapple shrimp bowl, to the amazing housemade totopos and salsa machis that my husband and I are firmly addicted to. The chef is clearly in love with this cuisine, the culture it comes from, the craft of cooking it, and the people who eat it.
Best quesadillas in town! Get the shrimp + chicken every time! Amazing service every time!
Visited last week for the first time and loved it! I ordered the chilaquiles and they were delicious! Definitely would visit again to try other dishes!
Really, really good. Authentic Mexican food. Good ambiance. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. We will be back.
I had the red chilaquiles and the iced horchata latte! The red chilaquiles were missing some spice, therefore I give them 4 stars. The horchata latte was delicious, not too sweet would definitely get again. My husband had the cochinita which tasted so good and like genuine Mexican cochinita, 5 stars! The corn tortillas taste great as well so would ask for more upfront to make more tacos with your cochinita.
A quick walk from our house. Servers are all super sweet and helpful. Food is generally always on point!
Nice clean small establishment
Very nice employees or owners
Ordered barbacoa tacos and tamales
And for desert
Chocolate and oatmeal cookies
The barbacoa tacos were too greasy for me
But had good flavor and they trim off the fat from the meat A+
The Tortillas were ok
The tamales were a little dry/outside
But the filling inside
Chicken was very tasty
Lots of flavor
Pork was the same
Never had pork tamales that good
Very clean
Traveled from Tomball
Probably won't visit again
And the cookies
Perfect
Thanks
You need someone to clean the tables. The young lady working can only do one thing at time. Talk in the phone seemed to be it.
I’ve followed Conchinita&Co since they were a pop up eatery, so I’m beyond excited they now have a brick and mortar set up. The space is roomy and inviting, and employees are nice, the food is divine, and the coffee never disappoints. The tacos dorados were delicious and the mole exceeded my expectations, as I am very picky about mole. On a separate occasion I picked up tamales for a party which were a huge hit. I look forward to the many meals and coffee runs I will have at C&C.
We attended a concert at the Villa and then found this place just down the street for dinner. It was excellent! Try the chicken mole.
