CoCo Crêpes, Waffles & Coffee reviews
32Nice place. Quiet and comfortable. Loved the fact they weren't blaring loud music like so many places do, especially for a Sun brunch. Food ordered was very good. Service was good as well. Would recommend.
Not fresh ingredients. Strawberries in the Nutella crepe were not fresh sliced and did not taste good at all and couldn’t taste any Nutella it just tasted like chocolate sauce. I also got a gelato in a cone and the cone was stale. We will not be back. This was on 7/2/21 @ 8: 30 at night.
Best service in the area, food is great, service amazing. Highly recommended. I would give them more than 5 stars.
Never thought I would give them anything less than 5 stars, but I had to. I placed an order to go, when I finally opened my food, it was not what I expected at all. I ordered a pinini, it looked like I only got 1/3 of the sandwich. Very disappointing. Finished it in3 bites.
Casual but nice place reminiscent of la Madeleine. Got some crepes to go: the chicken and spinach and Moroccan sausage. Nice sauces with each. A mushroom cream sauce with the first and sun dried tomato cream with the second. Also got two half crepes for dessert - a nutella and a creme brulee, both top notch. The creme brulee had a nice caramelized glaze, the nutella a rich hazelnut cream. Also had some nice looking croissants and a good gelato bar. Check it out.
I ordered a Dulce de Leche Crepe with bananas & almonds, along with a Medium Cold Brew Coffee. Both were prepared perfectly! On my next visit, I will request some extra sauce on the side of my crepe. Soooo Yummmyyyy!
Crepes o' plenty, and really tasty. If you think crepes are only for dessert, you REALLY need to get out more, seriously. This is just the place to expand your gustatory horizons. BTW, they do a mean dessert crepe, when you're done with the savory. Not to be missed.
The crepes themselves are thick and the filling is quite off. Individually the ingredients in the crepes are okay but when combining them it seems like a novice made this decision for example. The sauce on the spinach and chicken crepes off puts the whole dish. The homemade drinks are amazing though will definitely go back for those
Visited on a Saturday morning, friendly people, wonderful space, open and inviting, and food was delicious. I recommend you visit and if I'm in Houston again I will definitely go back.
I ordered the breakfast crépe, a strawberry, banana and nutella crépe, milk and coffee. The employees where very helpful, pleasant and professional and the food arrived promptly without incident.
Usually go to sweet Paris when I'm in Montrose but this place was really nice and opened up more options. Staff was really nice and more than patient with my indecisive food selection. 10/10 would recommend!
Best crêpes I've had in Houston!
Not many places have savory crêpes and waffles, but CoCo does it well. Their sweet crêpes are fantastic too. If you find yourself in near Rice with a craving, this is the place to go! Next time I'll have to try a dessert waffle
Coffee shop vibe with good food. But the Coffee and service was ok. Will definitely go back though cause I liked that no nonsense atmosphere and fresh ingredients. Only chicken dishes were confirmed halal.
Cozy place where u can enjoy good food. I liked the Moroccan sausage panini. No rush to finish quickly. Yay!
Delicious as always! I love their patio and games. The staff always seem like they could use some more sunshine in their lives.
This place reminds me of days spent in Europe. I love the food and the atmosphere. It is a little more pricey than I would normally want to pay, but they are considered more of a specialty shop here.
This place is AMAZING! Hole in the wall on the outside, elegant and clean on the inside. I came in looking kind of rough, but the staff was still very friendly and helpful! You can feel so much love in the atmosphere, and it just transitions directly into the food. The Crêpe au Miel was absolutely delicious! The crêpe itself was light but moist. The banana was perfectly ripe and blended very well with the creamy, but not too rich, peanut butter. The fresh mint to cleanse my pallet was a perfect ending to this mid morning meal!
Fabulous place. Somewhat small interior but worth the squeeze. My favorite is the Crepe au Miel (pictured), which is a sweet crepe with bananas, honey, peanut butter, and toasted almonds. Light, but filling at the same time. My husband always got the savory crepes and liked them but you should note that the sausage is spice quite differently than American sausage. It's got somewhat of a chorizo flavor. Overall a great place and friendly staff, usually.
I went in just for a cup of coffee and to do a little work. Great iced latte, and ended up getting the Coco Green smoothie. Want to try the crepes next time. And friendly staff as well.
You walk in and order at the register, pay and then find a seat. The service was good. I'm not sure if I was anxious or not, but I wanted my the food quicker than it was brought out. I ordered a savory crepe, chicken and spinach and was highly satisfied! Everyone that I went with was also pleased with their choices enough to place another order (it was cinnamon and sugar crepe if you're curious). Following that I ordered Raspberry sorbet. Overall it was a great and I would recommend this spot.
