Collom & Carney Clinic, Texarkana TX

Typical doctors, wanting to get paid. Started me on a blood pressure medication with no refills supposed to come back and see them in a month. I go back, turns out I have a balance for something and they won't see me 'til it's paid. I could pay $300 towards my balance and be seen that day, but I was only ready for a cash visit ($175-for seeing them without insurance). Would've cost me $475 to get that refill. I guess that blood pressure wasn't that important. Sure seems like they want to put you in that medical whirlpool of death where you come back to give them some more money in 4-6 weeks if you're not dead yet. Great way to "practice" medicine. Doctor was Gardial.

Jada and Carlton made me feel safe and as comfortable as possible during my study. The bed was comfortable and the recliner and they have a t. V. And a fan so that's a true blessing for me. I was able to shower and get the gunk off me and Jada so kind that she ran the shower so by the time I was disconnected from all the equipment I could have a hot shower If I ever have to do this again I pray that it's with them. Ty for such amazing gentleness and kindness y'all rock!

The receptionist was extremely rude when I called, hung up the phone on me for no reason. Sounded like she didn’t even want to answer the phone

I would rather chew my own arm off before I go back to Collom & Carney. I have never been put threw such a dehumanizing and degrading experience my by multiple doctors at this terrible place. Having this been said I have been to a doctor in Thiland where I was weighed on a dog scale and had a better experience and better outcome than visits here. If you ever need orthopedic care just head to Shreveport and see the wonderful doctors at Orthopidic Specificalist of Lousiana. I was able to been see taken care of and my issue addressed all within a week of of being seen there.

I would give negative stars if I could. The billing department was unsympathetic and uncaring. I called them prior to ever receiving my first bill to notify them of a situation where my place of employment neglected to pay the premiums. I anticipated a balance and wanted to inquire about making payments. No help, no concern, nothing but rudeness. Again.before I even got a bill I tried to work with them. I had heard that C&C was this way before I went there. Of course, I didn't foresee the issue with my employer. I should have listened to what was being said and read these reviews before ever arranging any care with them. So.a learning experience for me - these reviews mean something. I'll drive to Dallas or Shreveport before I ever make another appointment here.

Recently collum and Carney took over the senior clinic where I was going to. I couldn't see my Dr there anymore cause they said I had a bill from three+ years ago. And I had to pay it in full before coming back. I'm diabetic, and low iron anemic. I have to find another Dr because they refuse to work with me on the bill that said on the statement was wrote off. Go figure. Will Never see that place again.

My husband has been treated by Dr. Jason Pickelman. The care and expertise of Dr. Pickelman is like none we have experienced in the medical field. Dr. Pickleman has done three kidney stone surgeries on my husband and they have given my husband better well being and health with his advice. We consider it a blessing to have found Collom & Carney Clinic and Dr. Pickelman. The staff here is always pleasant and ready to help. It is very much appreciated.

Most absolute horrible doctors office in texarkana, would not use this facility for anything ever

Front desk personnel was not friendly at all! The girl did not speak or say hello or anything. She did not even smile! I went to see Dr. D. Thompson. The Dr. Was not friendly and did not not make me feel confident in his diagnosis. He gave me a shot in my shoulder which hurt like, well, leave it to your imagination. I’m going back to Hot Springs to see my original orthopedic Dr. Even though it’s 2 hrs away from where I live, it’s worth the trip to see a Dr that is caring and treat you like a human.

Dr. Gaylor is very kind, polite, informative and helpful but trying to get in contact with her office is absolutely ridiculous. It takes over two hours to get someone to answer the phone if you're lucky and then when you do finally get to talk to someone, the receptionists are so rude. If it wasn't for Dr. Gaylor herself then I would just quit going but she makes it worth it. I really do think she cares about her patients.

Why doesn't it seems like no one wants to answer the dang phone. I know y'all not that busy in the morning. Really considering changing my kids doctors!

Dr. Payne is great however there billing department and procedures to see patients is flawed. My four month old baby had his vaccination shots yesterday. Today he had a fever and four diarrhea diapers, so we took him in. The receptionist said we were mailed a bill a week ago with a $109 balance. We haven’t received it yet. The receptionist was unable to tell me what appointment it was from or a date of visit when the bill was from. I inquired as my son now has two insurance plans, not just one as a month or so ago. She said in order for my son to be seen money on the bill needed to be paid. Literally a baby has a fever and excessive diarrhea and they are worried about a balance of only $109. My husband went to the billing department while I waited with my son in the lobby. She receptionist told us to let her know when my husband came back from the billing department. When he met us in the lobby he said $40 was from an appointment with an allergist I saw in August. The rest of the balance was not submitted to insurance and were told it was covered. Absolutely ridiculous. This information made me more upset than actually having an accurate bill of $109.

I gave this review two stars because Dr. Christina Payne is great. I would have given one star if she was not my son’s primary provider. She needs to start her own practice and leave Collom and Carney. I’m going to look at other providers for our family.

Wish I could give less than one star.
DO NOT use this clinic if you are going through the VA. Our credit was marred because they took us to collections while they waited for the VA to pay the bill. We paid the bill and six months later got a refund check because the VA paid them. Trying to get anyone on the phone to try and work this out was a nightmare. Ten of ten would not recommend.

Dr. Jordan doesn't seem to know what she is doing. She will only spend about 5 minutes with you and will reschedule you for months down the road and never listen to all your health issues.

I met with Dr. Gaylor for the first time. She was very thorough in her examination, and she answered all my questions. I am pleased with her treatment of me and my medical concerns.

Frank Lachowsky M. D. Is the absolute rudest doctor I have ever encountered in my entire life. If he didnt want to treat me he could have been nicer in his refusal. I was absolutely shocked at his shortness and just plain rudeness! I wont be back!
