Colorado County Safety Rest Area Eastbound, Glidden TX

Clean restrooms, convenient location, but who the heck designed those ridiculous benches? ! Sat there for 20min trying to work on my laptop and had an imprint on the back of my thighs for 2 days!

Safe place to stop for use of the restrooms and to rest. I felt a little uneasy at night when I stopped but maybe it was just me. Overall a good resting stop

Cars to the left, about 25 parking spots. Trucks to the right, about 23 parking spots. Well maintained and open 24 hours.

I'm glad. There were vending machines.
My cousin took a nap, while I took a smoke & snack break.

Rest area was clean and well taken care of. I would have like to seen paper towels in the restrooms.

Very nice & clean rest stop. We had stopped on our way to the Houston area. We had stopped to have lunch and a restroom break for our dog. They have a restroom area and vending area. Some of the picnic areas have grills to cook hamburgers and hotdogs. The rest stop has designated 18 wheeler parking/ RV parking along with regular vehicle parking. Very nice & scenic.

When traveling from South of Houston to San Marcos, it's a really convenient place for a rest stop, they have markers to read while we stretch our legs and everything is nice and neat.

Great Facility and always clean. I stop here frequently on my way to Florida and on the way back to Arizona as well.

This was a nice Rest stop but the bathrooms were out of order, There are Port-a-potties out by the RV and Truck space - Did not Take any photos but it is a real nice stop with nice mossy oaks around, Vending Machines and and Covered Picnic Tables around with plenty of room.

If you need to stop I can see no reason not to stop here!

Great place to stop. Lots of truck/RV parking and car parking. Area to walk your dog and picnic tables with shade. The bathrooms were super clean and there is also a police sub-office here.

Restrooms are closed today. Only port o potty. Have sanitizer. Don't pass the last rest stop!

I just went to the party that was all and looked around a little bit everything was okay and nice.

Several stall doors in the women's bathroom did not lock. Otherwise normal and clean. A regular stop between San Antonio and Houston.
