Colorado River Refuge- Two Bridges Trailhead reviews
7Nice swimming area, walking trails, and picnic areas.fishing is not good at all.
This is a beautiful trail along the Colorado River near Bastrop. The trails were clean and clear with a few large step downs, but easily manageable. The water was flowing well at the beach due to upstream dam release for power generation (Aug)
This is one of the best kept secret swimming holes in Texas. The Refuge as locals call it is actually the Bastrop County Nature Park. A free to access nature park with a great beach area for swimming and launching kayaks. It is also the main trail head to the Lost Pines Nature Trails. Family and dog friendly. Don’t forget to clean up after yourself, there are numerous trash cans all over the park.
Beautiful Park on the Colorado River, connected to Bastrop County nature Park. The trail offers many unique rock formations and stunning views of the river.
Nice place and not overcrowded. Several trailheads that lead to the river and good hiking.
If your not from here please respect the rules and use common sense when exploring and clean up after yourself once done
Trails fairly easy but not well groomed. Really a primitive area along the river with an opportunity to see wildlife.
