Comal River Cottages, New Braunfels TX

We love comal river cottages and have made this our yearly family vacation! Tube rental right next door, close to the river and everything is so close! 5 star!

Second time staying here with family (6 adults, 4 kids). We get two places (403c and b) with a connecting door, so we have more than enough space to spread out. Great location. Right on water and next door to Texas tubes. Deer visit daily. Rooms have soap, shampoo, etc. Charcoal on the grill outside. Kitchen decently equipped. Small but nice porches. You can walk right down to the water and get in. Some tubes are there if you want to dip in front of the house.

Booked for our family vacation. We love to float the river and this location was so conveniently located by the Comal river. Super cute house, large kitchen, comfy beds and linens, awesome rain shower, nice fire pit in the backyard. We enjoyed are stay very much. Will be returning.

Amazing location! Very charming cottages right on the river next to Texas Tube rentals. We loved everything about this stay! And every morning and evening we were greeted by a family of deer. It was awesome! We will be back!

We had a great quick family trip. The location was perfect and convenient for our short trip. We highly recommend it and will be booking again.

Everything was nice except that pool was super tiny, omg it was like for 2 people and we had a group of 14!

Our stay was not as expected, having been there many time prior. I had requested cabin 5 on Andy's on the river. When reaching our destination after a five hour drive, when trying to check in to cabin #5 there was people still in the cabin. Then we were sent to another cabin #5 which was not the cabin I had signed up for! There were people in that one as well. We called the front office and we again told that we were to stay in cabin #1 but on Andy's on the river but Riverside. The inside was just regular wood no paint or Sheetrock which was kind of creepy. Second when trying to relax outside there were Scorpions! Then when finally getting ready to hunker down for the evening the beds were extremely hard to the point my daughter hurt her back and could not bend at all for a dews days out of our vacation. Also when it was time to leave we asked if we could have a late check out and we're told no. So we were pretty disappointed considering we paid a good amount of money for our stay and also being that it was not the first time we stay At Andy's on the river. If we would have gotten the cabin we asked for, like literally talked to someone prior to going, it was disappointing.

We just wrapped up our 2 night stay at the Comal River Cottages for a girls trip. It is the perfect place to stay! The cottage is adorable and very convenient. The tube rental is literally next door. You can’t beat this location. Highly recommend for your stay!

Our family rented the comal cottage in July and it was everything we wanted! Great location right on the river with steps leading down so you can easily swim. House was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and lots of living space. We will definitely rent there again

Cottages were fresh this year good up up dates to paint and decor. My only suggestion would be to add either pool latter or more steps into river for us older guest. Stones are very slippery and not good. We are the ones that actually pay to rent the cottages and would love easy access to the river. I saw latters next door

I want to thank you for such a quick response in responding to my inquiry about a potential cancellation. You truly made a difference. I grew up riding the Comal & Guadalupe river, however with reservations it’s hard to find accommodations unless you book well in advance. We had 279b it was gorgeous. I would love to stay at one on river…. Thank you!

Our group of 25 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Comal River Cottages. The location is the best on the river. Across from Landa Park and just upstream from the 'tube chute'
The cabins are upscale, clean, and have easy river access.

We have stayed here several times throughout the years & always have a great time! Location is perfect walking distance to restaurants as well as river access & Schlitterbahn. Cathy is very easy to communicate with & houses are as described. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfecto location right on the river with your own (shared but not too shared if that makes any sense) access to river.

We loved our stay at the cottages. It was nice a cozy with a full kitchen and all necessary cooking ware. The space was perfect for a family of 5 adults.
The location was also great. Restaurants near by and just a few steps to the river. We were able to get right in and float to the first chute and walk back. We ended swimming across to get back to the cottage. They charge $2 during the weekend to get back in the river. No charge during the week.
