FANTASTIC… every time… not sure how else to sum it up. Overall, this is the best brunch in town no questions. Get in line online otherwise you can wait up to 2 hours for a table. Check their social media for running specials. Tip the people well, and enjoy a fantastic spot.
We go there for brunch at least once a month since 2019 (old location too).
Crabby bennys are the best bennys in town.
The giant yogurt cup is great and feeds the whole family. Line up a trip to the Misiones or ride your bike to the restaurant because you will need it afterwards!
On a sad note, the people at Los Patios are starting to kill the atmosphere there. We got yelled at because I wanted my baby daughter to see the river next to the restaurant and apparently now you are not allowed to walk on the grass. I would never set foot there again if it wasn’t for Comfort.

An excellent spot to go with friends or on a date. There is a more personal vibe there, so I would most definitely not bring the entire family. The cuisine is great and comes in large servings. Will served us, and he performed a fantastic job. My wife ordered an omelet, and I relished the biscuits and gravy. We had no idea that there would be so much food, so we split a blueberry-stuffed French toast. We brought our infant stroller inside, but we won't be doing it anytime soon because there isn't enough space.

Absolutely the best breakfast food I've ever had in the entirety of Texas, the atmosphere is absolutely peak, and it's a pay-what-you can restaurant, truly the highlight of my day coming here for the first time

An amazing experience! Great food in beautiful surroundings.
This is a worthy cause that supports sobriety.
One of the things that came to mind during my visit is these folks are contributing members of society and not whirling through others lives like a tornado, leaving destruction behind and disappearing with the wind as non-recovering alcoholics and addicts so often do.
A totally different perspective on sobriety and recovery in a kind and loving environment with an emphasis on SERVICE!
Kudos for this program and the Comfort facilities!
And congrats to the fine folks participating in every aspect of it.
Just great all around experience.
God bless y'all
AND PS; Gracie Marie and I will keep y'all SHARP in the kitchen

Rise and Shine, indeed! That is the name of the delectable dish I had, complete with bacon with just the right amount of crispiness, eggs like mama used to make, a freshly baked muffin and the main attraction of a honey drizzled mixed berry yogurt parfait grandly presented in a frosted oversized martini glass! A properly named entree for sure. Rise and shine is also the trajectory I see in the staff here at Comfort Cafe San Antonio. The smile in their eyes, joy in their service and creation of the warm and friendly atmosphere sparks an immediate connection with the customer. So refreshing and a blessing on all sides! Thank you Serenity Star and Comfort Cafe for a truly filling and fulfilling experience!

My newest favorite restaurant! The staff is so friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and most dishes have a unique flare. We take the kids as it’s a very kid friendly environment. Super relaxed environment and we always end up staying way longer than intended. They have a cool patio outside and cozy vibe inside. 10/10 every time we go!

The food was amazing! The service was on point. At no time did we have to flag any servers down for refills or anything. 12/10 would go again.

They are a cash only, but they do have an ATM on premise.

The food here is the Bomb Diggity! But what's even better is their cause. It's a Serenity Ranch to help people get clean and sober. Price are pay as you can but a suggested price of $15 per entree. Our server was Will, and he was very friendly and polite. We had the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes, brown sugar pecan pancakes, the jalapeno popper omelet, the Little Italy omelet, and the three swiss meat omelet. We plan on going back because the food was that good.

If you're in town and love a good breakfast you must visit. It's very unique, everything is donation based but they ask you to be fair. No matter what you order from the menu, you will not be disappointed. There will most likely be a wait, but a walk around the scenery or the gift shop will make it go by fast. NO alcohol is served. CASH only.

Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch. Cash preferred (does not accept credit cards). Lovely servers. Reliable wait time (we had a table in 15 mins). Excellent meals. We’ll be back!

What an exceptional place in the midst of so much struggle in this world. Helping others with sobriety, prices are donation based, and their story is incredible.

NOT TO MENTION THE FOOD WAS. IS AMAZING!

Went Saturday morning 10: 30am and was told that they way they do business is that you have to call ahead to be added to their waiting list otherwise no walk ins unless willing to wait 2 hours. Looked around & although there were customers there were also plenty of open tables. Never heard of this with a restaurant.

This was an awesome and amazing place. Well worth the visit to support the programs and people. The food amazing and was top quality and better than I've had in 5 star restaurants.

A must go.

A really great place to take a date or a friend. I definitely wouldn’t take my whole family, it’s more of an intimate atmosphere. The portions are big and the food is delicious. Will was our server and he did great. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and my wife had an omelet. We both shared a blueberry stuffed French toast because we didn’t know that it would be so much food. We took our baby stroller in and will not be doing that again, there’s just not enough room.
