Comfort Inn Early Brownwood

Me and my parents stayed there just a few days ago and when we woke up in the morning to eat breakfast that was supposed to be included in the stay.so we will not be back here I understand that stuff happens but just leaving because you don't want to be at work.is very uncalled for if I did that my job that i would be fired.but you can tell your workers to be more professional to there guest because with out us you have not business.because the girl that worked the front desk that morning didn't even apologize for the inconvenience for the kitchen worker to leaving before I even having anything out for breakfast that morning.like I said before you need to work on your staff being more professional and courteous to their guest because if I didn't do that at my job I would be written up for it my

Nice location where it was close to everything and easy access to the Inn. Our room was clean and had all our necessities for our stay. Friendly and helpful staff

Overpriced for a ran down hotel. Have a poor excuse for breakfast hot tub was under repair, & the gym did not exist.low water pressure in shower. Don't go here.waste oc money.

Well I’ve been staying at Comfort Inns for many many years and never had a problem till this one. I leave and the next day down the road I see they took $250.00 off my card so I call and ask them what’s that for and they tell me i smoked in my room now I don’t smoke and had no one with me I’m 68 and travel a lot for work and don’t need this so beware people stay down the street at the Holiday Inn or anywhere but here

First, the air conditioner never worked at night, and another customer when asked said his did not either.

The breakfast was disappointing. The hot food seemed reheated and not fresh. I tried to make a Texas waffle and the batter was so thick I could not get any. When I asked the employee to re-fill it she said it was just thick "because it has been there since yesterday. " It is also the kind of hotel where they place 2 yogurts out and wait for you to ask for more if needed.

Great experience, staff was friendly and enjoyable. Laundry facilities on site, nice size pool breakfast is great. Andy the manager is superb. Will be making this a place to come to when in the area.

A little outdated, but great location and clean rooms. Front desk is friendly and helpful.

I can't say enough about this hotel! As a traveling nurse working nights, they have always been very accommodating. The rooms are always nice and cool. The beds, pillows and linens are very comfortable compared to other local hotels. A special thank you to Alyssa, Cheyenne and the manager (not sure if I spelled their names correctly)! You guys are the best

We stayed on a Sunday night - Monday morning. Brownwood was busy due to little league ball games. Check was no hassle and so was checkout. Both times the attendant was doing other jobs in addition to attending the counter. At morning breakfast, we ran out of coffee and waffles as the attendant was doing counter work also. I can't slam the personnel as they were busy. Maybe some more help needs to be hired. But, the rooms were clean. Everything was in order and worked. We had no issues. Had a good night sleep and would stay again.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was both packaged and unpackaged breads, biscuits, and danish type items. Bread slices and bagels to toast. Scrambled eggs and sausage patties. Cereal and milk. Waffle maker and mix. Fresh juice, apples and oranges. There were some multi grain bars as well. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel itself seems a bit old, but not run down. Loud air conditioner but blew cold air. Room was on the first floor which was a little noisy with foot steps in room and hallway above. Area seems basically safe and there is a Starbucks across the street. A little expensive given the age of the property, but friendliness of staff and breakfast options are a nice feature.

Stayed here several different occasions and it was great each time. Rooms were very nice and clean, the service was always friendly, and the location is convenient to stores and restaurants

There looked to rat droppings in the AC unit and it stank bad. Then in the middle of the night it stopped working was to tired to even ask for another room y'all might want to clean that nasty AC unit room 301

From MY experience, my husband & I had the weekend away & we lodged in last weekend, 04/01/2022. Listen, I felt awesome! It was like home away from home. The room was CLEAN, sheets, towels…EVERYTHING! It smelled good too. We only had breakfast on our last day and it was great. The staff too were so professional. This place is my new plug wherever I go!

Service was very good, beds and pillows were perfect. Very clean! Will definitely stay there again

Make sure to check this place out in person before you pay because they will lie to you over the phone just for you to get a room. Staff are very rude and very disrespectful! Absolutely outrageous! Never in my whole life have I had this terrible of experience!

Very, very disappointing place. The hotel should have disclosed UP FRONT that none of the amenities you are paying for are not available. No pool or hot tub, and no fitness center. Don't waste your time here.

While the rooms were clean and beds were comfy, we were upset that the indoor pool was “out of service”, as this is the only reason we booked here instead of a cheaper option. We called Friday before booking to ensure it was open and was told yes it was. Saturday, we got the kids ready and pumped to go swimming just to find the door locked. When we asked why, we were told it was out of service. And got a smart a** response when we mentioned we called prior to booking to make sure. We had some pretty upset kids. And to top it off, we got told something about our kids being too loud on the floor. We had 4 kids with us and could not keep them entertain, and I guess they were supposed to stay seen and not heard. We could have kept them entertained had the pool been open like we expected.
Water pressure was bad in the room. And while the breakfast was a nice touch, the amount available kept running low along with forks and plates, and ourselves among others, had to go search for a person to ask to replenish.
We visit brownwood often as we have family in the area, so hopefully next time there won’t be a discrepancy in the information we receive over the phone versus what the truth is when we arrive. Even a heads up at check in would have been acceptable if the pool had “just gone out of service”.
