Comfort Inn I-10 EAST Near AT&T Center, San Antonio TX

If you need internet to turn in reports for work or do anything on line then forget this place. Otherwise it is a clean hotel.

It was Really great I loved it but one problem was that the water shut off so I didn't get to use the bathroom

If you want to have a nice visit to san antonio DON'T STAY in this place. DO NOT STOP IN THIS HOTEL. IT'S HORRIBLE.the door locks are bad.the AC is bad.they do not cool and they are from the 60's.the carpet smells bad.so the whole room smells bad.you will not be able to sleep and rest.that is sure. In addition to that, Steal in the hotel parking lot. The weekend we stayed, my husband and I had the catalytic converter stolen.the hotel was not the least bit concerned because its guests complained that the cars had been stolen.the hotel seems to have no general manager.whenever you asked to speak to the manager, the receptionists said "he's coming tomorrow". Never appeared.they were never able to make a call to the manager.the elevator did not work. The reality is that nothing work in this hotel. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.in the conditions that the hotel is, I wouldn't be surprised if they were about to close it down.veryyy but veryyy bad.

From check-in to check out the service was beyond Top Notch. Martin was extremely helpful and I would Always recommend this hotel. Thank you for the great stay and friendly staff. I will definitely stay at this location again.

Worst place ever and staff of very ignorant! Our room REAKED of a wet dog smell and was noted to have cigarette ash on the floor. We were just so tired from our drive that we didn’t complain. Found out the air filter from the ac unit was FILTHY. It was dog hair. I ended up cleaning it in the shower stall and the smell went away. We were charged for “smoking” in the room and we are not l even smokers. The stump of an employee we had during checkout was useless when we called back to dispute the charge. They had no hand sanitizer in the dispensers. This place is disgusting and so are the employees. When I kept asking to speak with a manager I kept getting told “five minutes and she will call you”. I had a LOT of 5 minutes pass and no returned call. Ended up having to call the police on them. And wouldn’t you know it, everyone was available and hand sanitizing was full and ready to go.

STAY AWAY! Much better spending money elsewhere

The hotel was nice but I ordered a suite, there was blood on the pull out mattress, we told the staff and he apologized and preceded to get another mattress from another suite room, when bringing this mattress it also had blood on it. At this point we are frustrated because why are you keeping mattress that have blood on them? Why aren’t they being thrown away? How didn’t you have knowledge of this?

The staff ends up changing our room because they didn’t have anymore suites available. And I refused to lay on a biohazard. The room we switched to was much smaller and a downgrade. Although they did change the pricing for having to compromise and change rooms, this is not a good way to run an establishment and gives the customer a poor perception on your establishment.

Following the next day it started on a good note until I tried to heat some food in the microwave, I soon realized the microwave didn’t work. We called the front desk and a staff member went to Walmart and bought an microwave to put in the room.

When first switching rooms I noticed that there was trash in the room I thought maybe it was from us moving luggage into a new room but than I later realized it wasn’t ours. There was gum in the trash cans, hair in the tub, paper under the AC vent, and a piece of food rapper under the bed. Meaning that this room was not fully cleaned before checking us in to this room.

At this point we considered checking out and going to another hotel but wasn’t sure if there was more rooms available. Later on through the week (we stayed 5 days at this hotel) we asked the staff for more toilet paper the staff member asked for our room number so they could see how long we were staying. They gave us one toilet paper roll as if they were rationing. We asked for an additional roll of toilet paper because there was multiple people staying in the room and just one toilet paper roll wouldn’t be enough and they told us “ No, we could come back tomorrow and ask for another roll”.

In conclusion, this hotel experience was dreadful and I wouldn’t recommend at all staying at this location, possibly not any of their locations. These are simple OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Standards) rules that should have been followed not broken.

Ok daily rates, friendly hotel staff, a decent breakfast, small gym, washer and dryer and nice rooms. My only hang ups are that it's far from anything walking distance (cab needed) and the water does not get more than lukewarm. I was informed that it is set like this on purpose. However, I did notice that if I took a shower sometime around 1: 00 p.m, the water was significantly warmer. Any other time of the day, it was lukewarm or cold.

I checked in on this hotel, I had asked before arriving if I could connect my laptop to the TV for streaming, I was told that yes I could, sadly I realized I couldn't, when I asked front desk they apologized for the person informing me wrong, I get it sadly it was beyond their power but why would someone have told me that I could.

As I'm in the room with the AC at 68 I can literally feel the swear running down my face, the AC didn't even cool and then turn off, it just started and immediately turn off, any settings I tweaked with the AC just made it so that as soon as it started feeling better it would turn off immediately, so of course I go to the front desk to inform them, they tell me the settings I should set the AC to, I inform the person attending the front desk that those are the settings I have on the AC and that with those settings the lobby even felt colder than the room since I was sweating in the room, the person apologized and told me that sadly every AC is like that so I would face the same issues.

Overall very horrible experience with the room being so unbearably hot, going to the front desk accomplished nothing, they had no way of helping me or even making my experience better, definitely feel that this experience wasn't even worth the money I spent on it.

The hotel is Located off I10 highway when you first enter the city. Be careful with price increase in area. Breakfast was okay the eggs wasn’t real eggs (shell eggs). The room was clean but it wasn’t a bar in the room but it was on my receipt. Online the original price was 89.00 a night, but once I got there it was one room left. So the price I was told was 169.00 a night it was out me and other Africa America man so I got the room just to see if others was charge the same price. The room is definitely not worth 169.00 a night I was charged a additional 50.00 for a pillow lol Just so they know I stripped both beds cause I didn’t need a double room, the housekeeper was gone have to work that morning yea and wig I left behind was for who ever may need it. It was worth that 50.00 pillow

Everything but the shower. Barely warm. I was counting on a hot shower. And then I looked up. Ceiling was falling. Went down to front desk. Guess they were on break. I expected a hot shower thats a game changer

No restaurants nearby - Bathroom ceiling was damaged - shower water was lukewarm, never hot - Staff could not explain why - Hotel charged an extra $75 without warning - travel 90 nights a year in hotels (San Antonio often) will not be back here - Very noisy alongside I-10... Pass on this hotel

The front desk area is always so clean and organized. The tables nice and clean, counter areas as well. The staff is very attentive and helpful each time I have stayed there. The rooms have been very good, no complaints. Restrooms are clean and rooms smell good and clean when I open the door each time. I stay here at hotel for business purposes and won't stay anywhere else when I come to this territory.and let me tell you I have gone to other hotels more expensive than this and will never set foot there again if I could help it and it's not because of price. It's because you don't always get what you pay for. I give this hotel and staff here at Comfort Suites Inn I-10 5 stars thank you guys! See you soon!

It is a well maintained property, the room was clean and well kept although the furnishings a little worn out. Staff very polite and courteous, location not so great, no restaurants nearby.
