Room was clean and comfortable. Elevator needs attention. Breakfast selection was limited.

So, we booked here due to it stating it has an indoor heated pool. We have an 8yr old and she touched the water and it was intolerable, cold! After speaking with Rosy she stated it’s been a year since it’s been out. Ugh, to upper management why would you still have that listed on your site? Room was old looking like they didn’t care about the damaged walls or the cleaning of it as well as pool and gym areas. I realized we booked last minute, but we canceled our last night and left to a better one for one more night in New Braunfels. Do Not Book here, management doesn’t care and it shows.

The good: Bed was super comfy. Room was nice and clean enough.

The not so good: Breakfast was pitiful, I imagine due to Covid restrictions, but most of those had lifted before our stay. You have granola bars, possibly a muffin but not always, and frozen breakfast sandwiches. Oh, and oatmeal packets too. Waffle makers are abundant but the batter machine was blocked off so that was useless. Microwave wouldn’t even work. They obviously want you to grab your food (what little there was of it) and go back to your room. That’s a little off-putting. Even the juice machine would only dispense water and one other juice despite the appearance of having more options. Pool is unheated and in a freezing cold room. The staff is friendly, but overshares and trash talks her employees to the customers. I just didn’t get a good vibe from the place in general. I have always had great experiences with Comfort Inn before, but will probably not go back to this one.

Filthy hotel! I think one star it extremely generous! It looks like it has never been vacuumed! Breakfast was terrible! All the machines were out of order!
Book somewhere else!

The lobby smelled of chlorine when we arrived. There was a pantyliner wrapper on the bathroom floor when we walked in to the bathroom. In plain view, couldn't have been missed. The shelves that the towels were on were caked with dust. We got down to breakfast at 7: 30AM the next morning and there was nothing to drink and only 1 muffin. There were plenty of granola bars and frozen breakfast sandwiches left. On our second night there my daughter found a bed bug in her bed. We searched my bed thoroughly and ended up sharing my bed for our last night there. The next morning after searching through all our clothing before packing it I was checking her bed to make sure no clothing got mixed up in the sheets and found there was a blood stain on the sheet. I looked and she had no bites or cuts on her, so that was gross. I waited at the desk to check out so I could speak to someone about the issues and the lady just asked me what room number and then just walked away from me. There are a lot of hotels in the area, so we will not be staying here next time we are in town.

I paid $90 thinking it would at the very least be clean. This hotel was DISGUSTING! The end.

Booked this hotel due to a work event in San Marcos. The place is definitely not a 5 star hotel but I was fine with that until it came time to sleep. I have been trying to sleep for 5 hours but there is the most obnoxious, high pitched wailing sound coming from my ac. It sounds like a tornado is outside. Definitely won't be booking here again.

Needs lots of updates! Very uncomfortable beds that with any movement would squeak. In general hotel looks very run down.

Rated 2 because I have to say that the room was clean, bed was ok and lobby area was clean. I am so very disappointed in what hotels are coming to and YES, I do believe a lot of them are using Covid as a excuse for poor service and amenity offerings.
A full breakfast buffet was offered and when I went down to breakfast all that was offered was orange juice, semi warm coffee and FROZEN breakfast sandwiches! Does that constitute of a full buffet? I highly doubt it! Makes me super angry that they are allowed to falsely advertise something and get away with it. What about a family with kids who really needed a breakfast and was greeted with this?
Won't stay here again and I hope others start boycotting this Chain, their service sucks and their amenities are non existent.

Can not share my views unless I give it a star. I am a General Manager and have never treated staff members like trash. I witnessed the AGM threaten a housekeeper to fire her if she did not hurry with her room. From what I could see, the room looked very trashy and the housekeeper looked tired. I met Rosy when I arrived and seemed nice at first. Talks a lot but seemed nice but changed my mind when I witnessed her ugly attitude. Apparently she has no management skills. She needs to be trained in order for her to be a manager. If the General Manager knows about her behavior, shame on you for hiring someone with no proper training. Room could've been cleaner but at last minute I needed a room and stayed here. As for Jaylin, he should be the AGM. He was a perfect member of the hotel. I wouldn't mind having him work at my location.

Very clean and comfortable for a night.breakfast is very very simple: coffee oatmeal and bread.at least when I stayed.

Absolutely filthy rooms, the room that houses the ice machine was horrific! There was, what appeared to be mildew, on the floor,
the machine had a leak, so they threw a towel underneath which was soaked, and water was running onto the floor. The room obviously had not been cleaned in months. There was mildew in the shower, the shelves in the bathroom were covered in dust, there was dirt and debris all over the floor, the haner on the back of the door was non-existent-there was just a hole where it had been. The carpet was worn and torn, the microwave and door to the housing of the refrigerator was covered in fingerprints and dust. The carpet in the halls had dirt and debris, and had clearly not been vacuumed in quite some time. The "breakfast" was a joke. Most of the drink machines were out of order. There was not really any food to speak of. Microwavable breakfast sandwiches or oatmeal was about the extent. Needless to say, we didn't eat. We went back down after the breakfast was over, to try and get some drinking water, but the water was not working. So now we were both hungry and thirsty.

Do NOT book at this place! I'm surprised that it is even open, and that the health department hasn't shut it down!

I know that COVID has affected everything, and I'm sure that they will use it as their excuse, but there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for the deplorable conditions that we experienced here!

We walked into our room and checked the bed and there was mold and mildew on all the pillows in the room. The floor looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed because there was crums and dirt everywhere.due to health issues we decided it wasn’t safe to stay and get another room or new bedding. We were refused a refund. This place is gross and smells and isn’t safe to stay

Comfortable beds, Good sevice, but terrible breakfast, half of juice machines out of order. Not much of anything was available. Some packaged snacks.

Is a good room. Nothing to brag about. Clean, although we found a dead bug under the blankets. Dead bug.

Booked a reservation with this hotel via Priceline months in advance for a busy weekend. We showed up on the night of our stay and we were told our reservation was cancelled while Priceline showed it was still active. It didn't matter as the hotel was now fully booked due to the busy weekend. Giving one star since the hotel never reached out to inform of cancellation, by the time we were informed we no longer had a reservation all the nearby hotels were fully booked. We were also never given a reason to why the reservation was cancelled. It's extremely disappointing to plan ahead and have your plans upended for no real reason.

Online pics look acceptable. In reality not so much. Dirty carpets, bathroom floors, elevators. AC constantly makes a loud noise. We were told they all do. Phone didn’t work. Hotel clock didn’t work. Tv remote was dead. Breakfast was packaged biscuit sausage that you had to microwave. And that’s the only selection. Tables were dirty and never tended too.
