DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! This hotel is at best -1 start, was going to stay for weekend to visit family n friends in san antonio n it went south quick before night. I checked in n unloaded my stuff n left to hit up as many places a possible for short time in san antonio, when we got back around 9pm to finally call it a day room was crawling with roaches all over the room.went to front desk and explained what was going and the guy in reception tried to accommodate a new room, well new room AC didn't work and saw couple roaches crawling in floor also.ok this was it, I had my lil baby and wife and was not going to stay in a roach infested place I paid for.told front desk I wasn't staying no more to just give me a refund n I was out, no manager in sight so front deask had to call him and the manager was screaming over the phone denying a refund, it was late so I didn't want to argue n we just left
Hotels are supposed to be comfortable and inviting, and this hotel was not. Our room had a basic cleaning (hair, food/drink stains, dirty toilet), which my family and I re-cleaned. We requested new sheets as multiple had unidentified stains. Our refrigerator was completely inoperable and when reported the front desk noted that maintenance would be by the following day, after previously stating that he would be by that evening. Unfortunately, this didn't benefit a family member as a refrigerator is essential due to medical reasons.
We made due with ice and carried on with our stay.
Upon turning in for the evening the A/C continued to shut off. The temperature was in the 110s that day and remained in the 90s that evening. I informed the front desk and the response was, "we are fully booked for the evening. " I informed him that I would like to speak to the manager about our unfortunate stay. The manager noted that he would be in, but ultimately never showed and only chose to speak with the front desk attendant solely. I informed them that my family and I would be leaving and requested a refund. They offered us another room, which I declined because the ordeal had become too much. The front desk attendant noted that he would process the refund and noted there was nothing for me to sign or receive.
I am still awaiting my refund and will be contacting corporate and the BBB shortly.
Was a huge hairball clogging the bathtub from draining properly. We removed it ourselves and started draining right away. Other than that very pleasant stay.
Doesn't deserve even a half star. Had to change rooms twice, fridge wasn't cooling in the first one and ROACHES in the second. Staff didn't seem to care when I mentioned it to him and apparently the only way to get a hold of the manager is through email, which after reading the reviews, doesn't sound like I'll get a response. In the second room we spotted 6 roaches but I was only able to get 3. This is NOT somewhere I will ever stay again nor can I recommend it. THIS IS A DISGUSTING HOTEL.
Check out at 10am (what?) One of the worst breakfast. No milk, no oatmeal, no eggs (at 8: 30am) I guess their supplies last first 30 min of the breakfast. Huge line of hungry people who’s trying to get something to eat. Literally hunger games. Other than that not too bad 3/5
The room was clean and beds comfortable. The fridge was warm and the noise level in hotel room was loud, from the ice machine that is located directly in hallway across from rooms and from midnight to 3 am from what sounded like a party above. The breakfast was terrible. IE stale bread, mixed cereal in bins, no eggs, cold sausage, broken machines and sticky tables. Not many selections to choose from. No greeting as a diamond member or offered snack/drink (not that big of a deal) but staff seemed lazy, on personal phones, no info on wifi or breakfast times, ect. Will not be staying here again nor can I recommend this hotel. There are cheaper hotels in the area with better amenities.
We stayed in room 103. Very clean, no odor. Couch pulls out to third bed (no sheets). For the price, this is worth it. Breakfast was good. Will stay here if I am in the area again.
Would have given it 5 stars. BUT, I am traveling to see my 3 year old. I reserve the room for a WEEK. After 2 days, I am told I need to check out and they can’t honor the rate due to the fact that I don’t live in a 30 mile radius from the hotel. (Kansas is 1200 miles) So basically now I have to wait 2 to 7 business days in order to get my money back. So now I am on the streets with no where to stay. These guys are TERRIBLE. Specially if they don’t get the rate THEY WANT.
Breakfast served here which was amazing for our powerlifting meet. Beds were comfortable. Some areas of the room were worn but it did the job. Looked like someone smashed a bug on the ceiling we also had a hard time finding the entrance but maps took us to the backside and there wasn’t signage to point out the entrance. It met our needs
Highly recommend! We went to this hotel last minute for 2 rooms on a work trip. The initial hotel we went to was disgusting so we came here hoping for something decent. We asked the guy checking us in, whose name was Anthony, to honestly tell us if there were any issues with the rooms. He was honest and said they were quite clean. He made sure we got the rooms we needed even though we were there last minute. When we checked the rooms he was absolutely right. Beautiful bathroom, clean bed, no bugs, and even an AC/heater in the room. It's honestly the best hotel room I've had to date. The bed was super comfortable, the bathtub was a great size, and everything was quite clean. The next morning we had breakfast there and got to it a couple of minutes before it was set to shut down. The lady working there was super nice and told us to go ahead and take our time, and that she would shut down when we were done which we really appreciated. Found out she is also a housekeeper there as we were checking out! I unfortunately did not catch her name but she 100% is amazing and deserves a raise! She does absolutely phenomenal. Both her and Anthony made our stay great and we will definitely be using this hotel in the future!
Continental eggs were horrible. You have to do better if you want people to stay here. People can get sick.
Not a place to be treated like a respected guest. Just got chewed out by a cleaning staff member for walking on their freshly mopped floors. There was a caution sign but no indication the area was closed. I was effectively told off with "you don't see the sign? ! ", "You're not supposed to walk here", followed by "you don't show respect". Wow. If you like being told off, this is the place for you.
My stay was pleasant for the price we payed. The room was not cleaned in detail but the bed was very comfortable. Minor things such as some candy was on the floor and a used soap was left out. It smells kind of old in the building and our room. The breakfast was limited options and the eggs were pretty disgusting. The toast and waffles were fine. Staff was overall nice to us. Overall this place matches the price you pay.
