Comfort Suites Midland West

The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub could have been a little more hot. The food was really great. Everything was very clean. I've been to different hotels this week, and this is the best one.

The building is new and very clean. The rooms themselves were big and comfortable. Breakfast was good, especially the biscuits. They have an indoor pool (not heated) and jacuzzi tub open from 6am to 10pm. They have a big fitness room with 2 treadmills, 1 eliciptical machine, 1 bike, weights of different sizes and a strength/resistance machine.

Cons, when people walk, it sounds like stomping so we kept hearing stomping all night/morning from people on our floor and the floor above. Also, the front desk called us asking us to keep it down because the floor we were at was being loud, but our family wasn't being loud. She assumed it was our room. When I went to talk to them, I asked them what the problem was. She said oh yeah that wasn't you, it was another room, sorry.

Chairs look like someone been changing oil on them, unless that’s your last option don’t go! Rooms are not nice at all very disappointed.

I had an overall great stay at the Comfort Inn in Midland. I have fantastic things to say about the staff. Yuri went the extra mile to get me on a shuttle to the airport when I arrived on Saturday and then she was wonderful while checking me in. The woman driving the shuttle that evening also does a great job, and when I had to head back over for my rental car Sunday morning, the gentleman who drove me was terrific and we had a great conversation.

As for my room, it was clean and comfortable. My room was designed to adjoin the one beside it, and I think that may have inadvertently reduced the soundproofing. Or maybe the guy next door was just loud? I was there for a few days, and during my last evening, someone did manage to set the fire alarm off in the hall. Didn't end up being a big deal, and hopefully that is rare.

Breakfast was good, and consistent with my expectations.

The only thing I would change about the functioning of the hotel are the gym hours. With my gym closed in the evening on the weekends, I would have loved a place for late evening workouts, but their gym closes at 10: 00 PM. I never asked why or tried to convince anyone to let me enter after that, but I was disappointed, and I couldn't understand why it closed.

This was a nice hotel. The breakfast wasn’t great but that’s expected. I will say Yuri at the front desk was amazing. It’s really hard to find people that are that genuinely nice.

Stayed a few days with the husband and really enjoyed my stay, love they serve breakfast there and the variations of food they offered. The place was clean and nice!

Let me start off by saying I had a slight problem during my stay one of the nights. The management staff the next morning were fantastic people and got my situation rectified immediately. I would like to thank management and their housekeeping staff for their professionalism and character. They are good honest people here and I will definitely be back to this establishment. So if your looking for a nice clean place to stay I would definitely recommend.

This hotel is newer than the one I usually stayed in. The good: The rooms are nice, bathrooms look great and the water pressure in the shower does apparently exists. Unlike many they give you an option for the room cleaning schedule, which might be every day, if you prefer. That is not common nowadays, but certainly very welcomed. The gym was great, the indoor pool is a great way to relax a bit. Now about not so good parts. The doors are really loud when they are shutting, so if you are asleep, you might be awaken a tad too early because of the sounds. Hotel halls are very brightly lit, which is great, till you have a light pollution through under the door gap. Hotel does provide breakfast and 24 hour coffee available. The taste of both, however, is far from being desired. That definitely requires improvement. The variety of foods offered is quite standard, but something is definitely off. That's the reason I knocked off one star. One more thing. Wi-Fi network is wide open. I don't think its acceptable, they should have had a password. So, be careful when you are using it.

The girls at the front desk were friendly. Loved my shuttle driver from the airport, we had a great conversation. The only thing I didn't like was, the elevator was down the morning I checked out. There was no sign stating it was broken. After a few minutes I had to walk down the stairs. So scary, I imagined everything from scary movies. Luckily nothing popped out.

Great location, comfortable bed, cold A/C, and hot water for your shower. Only complaint was to much chlorine in the jacuzzi.

Stayed here twice in 1 week for travel. Rooms were clean and comfy.same 3 staff ladies each time. Were very helpful and pleasant. Only issue would be that they have more than 2 luggage carts.or keep one behind the counter to lend out so you know who has it and they will bring it back. Some jerk took them and kept them in their room.

Pool was nasty couldn't see the 1st step. Hot tub was full of some foam. I paid and then was told the elevator was broken and I was on the top floor. Paid booked in advance was told I couldn't get a refund. The room was smelly. Towels were damp. Bed was broken down and I woke up with my back hurting. Went down to breakfast that was supposed to be a buffet. Sausage egg biscuit. They offered oatmeal but no hot water and no coffee. Stay anywhere else

New, clean and friendly. No issues with front desk as others have mentioned but I had a simple online reservation and stay. Still clean and friendly.

Nice staff, but the water hasn't been working the last 2 times we've been. Completely unacceptable.

Love the rooms the beds where soft and comfortable I felt I was laying on clouds wouldn't know how that feels but best night sleep that I didn't want to get up

Room was nice big walk in shower was nice. The reason I have 4 stars was they advertise a hot tub and pool and I stayed there to soak in the hot tub and it was closed. I feel we should recieve a discount if they do not provide all the adminities listed

The internet did not work. The jacuzzi was broken. The bathtub stopper is removed. I have only been here 20 minutes.

My husband and I stayed at this Comfort Suites location two separate times one week apart and I cannot express how pleased we were. It is a very clean hotel and the staff was remarkable. So friendly and accommodating, in fact, I left a bracelet in my room and called the about it and they graciously sent it to me. Very honest which I found unusual given the many hotels we have used. This location has several restaurants within walking distance which was delightful for us weary travelers.

To start I am on call 24/7 with no schedule. I understand stand that the hotel needs to clean rooms every 3 days. But I had been up for almost 30 hours, so I called down to the front desk and explained my situation. I had asked if they could clean my room the next day, the lady said no it has to be cleaned today and told me it was hotel policy. I said ma’am I understand that but I’ve been up for a long time and that I’m not say you can’t clean at all just want to move it to the next day. So I asked for the manager. The manager was rude from the get go and told me I needed to have better scheduling for them to clean my room. Once again, I simply said that I’m not saying you can’t at all just not today because I’m exhausted. She told me I didn’t have a choice and that I would be woke up no matter what. So I simply said well you can try but my door will be locked. It’s sad that they can’t make a simple change on cleaning a room. Very poor customer service on Comforts behalf.
